Practical example of behavioral control in action in the American left

I have written several times in this blog about how the modern far left, especially in the United States (but to an ever increasing extent in many other countries as well) is a bona fide cult, and how it exhibits almost every single characteristic of a cult, one of them being behavioral control. One example of such a blog post here.

Behavioral control, both in religious and non-religious cults, often starts with small things, and this is no exception. These small things tend to be stuff that outsiders will find strange and even ridiculous, things that people in normal society do not do. The perfect example of this, as mentioned in that other blog post, is the "finger snapping" and later "jazz hands" replacing clapping, particularly among American far-lefist cultists.

At face value that example, while laughable and ridiculous, might feel small, inconsequential and innocent enough. However, it has an underlying reason behind it. And what distinguishes it from other strange customs is the motivation behind it, and how strongly enforced it is. This is not like some kind of fun little secret handshake among some fraternity members, something you do for fun. This is a mandated behavior, not done because it's "fun", or somehow useful, but because it's considered your duty to do so and, moreover, you will be considered a bad person if you refuse to do so. It's not about fun, it's about conformity.

Also, if this were just one single thing, then it would be rather inconsequential. However, among the far-leftist cult there are literally hundreds and hundreds of such "small" things, which all together form a huge thing. There are literally dozens and dozens of things that one has to remember, obey and conform to, if one wants to be a good leftist, and not be ostracized, harassed and exiled from the group.

The goal of all this behavioral control is what I have written several times: If the members of the cult can be conditioned to follow all these ridiculous rules, customs and habits without question, it makes it all that much easier to then make them do some more serious and questionable stuff, likewise without question, without hesitation, without doubt, without skepticism. In other words, they become useful tools who obey every command without hesitation.

And what do you know, nowadays we have a perfect example of these brainwashed conditioned tools being used for something significantly bigger and radical than just finger-snapping.

American far-leftists are literally protesting the investigation on governmental overspending, abuse and corruption. They object to governmental workers being investigated, and for questionable monetary spending to be investigated and stopped. They are literally objecting to the executive branch investigating and fighting governmental corruption.

The leftist government, those in power, the corrupt leftist politicians, are telling the masses of brainwashed drones "this investigation and scrutiny of the government is bad, protest it with all your might". And the masses, as the good brainwashed drones they are, are obeying blindly, without question, without skepticism, without hesitation.

This is literally the government, the establishment, opposing itself being investigated and scrutinized, and weaponizing the leftist cult to help them. They are literally saying to the cultists that scrutinizing the government is a bad thing, trying to find out corruption is a bad thing, and the cultists just obey and follow.

They do not think. They obey.

It's just the perfect example of cult-like behavioral control in action.
