Yes, the majority can be oppressed too

One of the doctrines of the modern social justice ideology is that only minorities can be oppressed, and that the majority cannot. It's somehow a completely ridiculous and illogical idea to even think that the majority could somehow be "oppressed". It's not physically and logistically possible. The majority cannot be oppressed for the simple reason that they control everything. Only minorities can be oppressed because the majority decides everything.

This notion has once again become quite prominent with the "Straight Pride Parade", which rather obviously the eternally offended regressive left not only opposes, but fought strongly against, because reasons. One argument for ridicule is that straight people don't need a "pride parade" because they are a majority and thus cannot be oppressed.

The notion is so obviously false that I don't even understand how it has become a thing. The notion has become so common that even many non-SJWs somehow believe it.

Of course the majority can be oppressed! It has happened during the entire history of humanity, and is happening all over the place to this day. The examples should be glaringly obvious.

During feudal times, especially in certain countries and areas, peasants and farmers were the overwhelming majority, and were largely and harshly oppressed by a small minority of royalty and aristocracy, the people in charge.

The French Revolution was an uprising of the common people against the aristocracy. Do you think that these oppressed people who rose against their oppressors were a minority? Rather obviously they were the vast majority of the population.

Take pretty much any banana republic dictatorship that has ever existed and exists today, and it will be the vast majority of the population being oppressed by a very small group of leaders and their military and police forces. Do you think that the people in North Korea that are being oppressed by the government are a minority?

In current events (as of writing this), do you think that the Hong Kong protesters, who are protesting against an oppressive Chinese government, are a minority? No, they are the majority of the population, being oppressed by a small minority that forms the government and its military and police forces.

Do you think that the so-called "yellow vests" in France, protesting against the government, are people from a minority group?

It should be rather obvious that the majority not only can be oppressed, but this has been extremely common during the entire history of humanity, to this day! It has happened, and is happening, all the time! How anybody can think otherwise is beyond my comprehension.
