When you think about it, it's actually fascinating that we are currently witnessing events that are completely unprecedented in the history of humanity (at least at this scale). What's scary is that these never-seen-before events are absolutely destructive and are leading us to a much worse world.
This is the first time in the history of the United States (and, possibly, the history of most free democratic western countries) that one of the political parties running the country is trying to stop an upcoming presidential candidate from running by repeatedly prosecuting him by abusing the legal system. Yes, this is literally the first time in the entire 247 years that the country has existed that anything like this has happened. No presidential candidate has ever experienced this in the history of the country (nor in the history of most western countries.) This is literally history in the making.
This is also the first time in the entire history of the country that totalitarian far-leftism has controlled so much, and has become institutionalized at all levels of society, from the highest levels of government, to the military, to the police forces, to the press, to the education system and to the vast majority of private corporations. This has never happened even close to this extent in the history of the country, and is completely unprecedented.
This is the first time in the history of western countries, and possibly the entire history of the world, that dozens of countries have, deliberately, purposefully and completely on their own accord, pretty much effectively opened their borders and seen literally millions and millions of foreigners enter their borders, legally and illegally.
(It is, in fact, nowadays hard to believe that it wasn't even so long ago that the number of yearly immigrants to many of the European countries was counted in the single-digit thousands. Not even tens of thousands. Single-digit thousands. For over five years now, however, there are several countries that have seen over half a million, in some cases even over a million, yearly immigrants, most of them illegally entering the country. And this is fully and deliberately allowed by those countries.)
This is probably also the first time in the entire history of humanity, regardless of country, state, empire, city or other form of sovereign population, where the government and ruling class of the sovereign entity is deliberately and purposefully importing as many foreigners from distant lands as possible for the explicit purpose of destroying and replacing the local culture and people. In the past if a ruler had attempted to do this he would have been executed for treason, but for some reason in the modern world this is not only tolerated but considered desirable.
This is probably the first time in the entire history of humanity that an extraordinarily large proportion of the targets of a massive racist campaign have accepted the dehumanizing accusations made against their race, internalized it, believed it, and started repeating it and stating it as a fact. I don't believe this has ever happened in the entire history of humanity at even nearly this scale (there might have been a few individual people who believed the accusations made against their own race and started repeating them as fact, but they were probably extraordinarily few and far in-between.)
