Derek Chauvin became a sacrificial lamb to a corrupt judiciary system

Derel Chauvin, the police officer who allegedly caused the death of George Floyd, has been convicted on all counts that he was charged.

Many have pointed out how most of the charges made no sense and shouldn't have been even allowed by the judge, because they don't fit the actual events (ie. the judge should have proactively motioned to dismiss them, because they don't apply).

Third-degree murder is for cases where someone deliberately kills someone, but without targeting a particular person. The archetypal examples are throwing a big rock from a bridge onto a highway, causing a lethal accident, but without targeting any particular car or person. Another example is shooting at a crowd, not at a particular person in a premeditated manner, but just to kill anybody, any random person that happens to be there.

Quite clearly Chauvin was not there with the intent to kill some random person, nor were his actions those of a person intent on killing a random person. This accusations just doesn't apply.

Second-degree murder is for cases where someone unintentionally kills someone in the commission of a crime. In other words, there's a primary crime (for example robbery), and as a direct result of the commission of this crime someone is killed (for example the gun used by the robber discharges and kills someone). The archetypal example is armed robbery gone wrong, with the perp killing someone, but not in a premeditated manner.

This does not apply because Chauvin was not in the commission of a crime. Every action he did was according to the guidelines and instructions of the police department. There was no primary crime that he was committing, the death being a secondary side-effect of it.

Moreover, it makes no sense to convict a person for both charges in the case of the death of the same person. Second and third degree murder charges are pretty much mutually exclusive: It can be one or the other, but not both at the same time, when dealing with one victim and one perpetrator. A third-degree murder charge requires explicit premeditated intent to kill. The murder is the primary crime. A second-degree murder is just a non-premeditated homicide that happened as a side-effect of a different primary crime, ie the killing is a non-premeditated secondary crime. The same crime cannot be both at the same time. One requires premeditated intent, the other the opposite. It's either one or the other, or neither, but not both.

However, unsurprisingly, the jury didn't care about any of this. The jury was probably completely and willingly deaf and blind to every single argument made by the defense. They deliberated very quickly and gave a guilty verdict on all counts. Most probably they didn't care about whether the counts applied or not.

Also, the judge shouldn't have allowed both crimes to be judged with a guilty verdict, because that's a contradiction. It's like judging someone of intentionally and unintentionally breaking someone's property at the same time. It's either one or the other, not both.

As I wrote before, the entire trial was a complete show trial for the angry masses. And, it turns out, he was sentenced by a complete kangaroo court that didn't give a flying fuck about any evidence or whether the charges applied or not. They just wanted blood, and that's it. They would have judged him guilty on all charges completely regardless of any evidence or arguments. This was 100% a political show trial by a kangaroo court. And Derek Chauvin was elected as the sacrificial lamb for the angry mob, who don't give a flying fuck about his rights, and who only wanted to use him as a political tool.

As I have also written before, it appears that the entire government of the United States, including its judiciary system, at all levels, is becoming completely corrupted.

Well, on the other hand, I don't have much sympathy to give to the American police. They made their bed, now they'll have to lie on it. They have deliberately and intentionally allowed lawlessness and corruption to reign free in the country. They are nothing but fucking cowards and insurrectionist pieces of shit who do nothing but watch from the sidelines while people are committing serious crimes in front of them. Now they are reaping the rewards.

Expect more of such kangaroo courts in the future.
