The problem the regressive left is facing with the anti-Asian violence in the US

Because of the "all white people are racist, only white people can be racist, and by definition non-white people cannot be racists" narrative that the regressive left has been pushing onto society, they are in increasing manners facing the problem of how to approach when non-white people commit acts of racially motivated aggression against a different non-white race.

When a white person commits an act of aggression against a non-white person (completely regardless of what the motivation for the aggression was, even if the motivation had absolutely nothing to do with race), it's a jackpot for the regressive left: It's yet another magnificent political weapon for their arsenal.

When a non-white person commits an act of aggression against a white person, the regressive left still blames the white person. Surely this act of aggression was caused by the racism of... the white person, of course. It's just retribution. It might not be completely acceptable (at least not in all situations), but it's still "less of a crime" because it was just retribution. Even self-defense. After all, it's ok to "punch a nazi", and all white people are nazis, so there. It's justified.

However, the regressive left becomes significantly more uneasy when non-white people commit clearly racially motivated violence against other non-white people. This is where they start struggling and, if the violence is too significant and widespread to ignore, this is where the mental gymnastics and avoidance tactics come into play.

It's also a problem to them when non-white people attack the regressive left themselves. Many a vocal far-leftist social justice activist found themselves in a kind of pickle especially during the 2020 riots when black people attacked their shops and homes. Suddenly they found themselves the targets of the black-on-everybody-else violence, and they had hard time coping with it.

Or take the infamous case that happened on July of 2020 when a group of far-leftist retards were illegally blocking a highway (with the police collaborating with them rather than arresting them, of course), when suddenly a car drove against the crowd hitting two people, one of them who died.

Rather obviously this was one of the biggest jackpots that they could have ever imagined. They immediately used this to claim that Trump supporters did this, that this was a terrorist attack against them by the far right.

The problem? The driver was an African first-generation immigrant from Somalia. As black as you can possibly get. And not even a Trump supporter. (Apparently he had somehow got to the highway by mistake, missing police blockades, and was merely wondering why the highway was so empty, when suddenly he noticed he was very quickly approaching some van with its lights off in the middle of the road, so he proceeded to swerve to the right to avoid it, after which he saw a bunch of people in front of him, after which he immediately swerved to the left to avoid them, but couldn't avoid two people who were behind the van, hitting them.)

Well, that was a bummer for the far-left. A few of them still tried to claim for a couple of weeks that it was somehow Trump's fault, by some really contrived (mostly unexplained) reason, but that story just died off pretty quickly, and the far left, and the media, quite quickly forgot about it.

Currently, however, the far left is facing a problem that they simply cannot ignore. Namely, the absolutely massively widespread spree of violent racist attacks against east Asian people.

There have been many, many cases caught on camera, but one of the most egregious cases happened recently (as of writing this) in New York.

A man, who was on parole for stabbing his own mother, came across an elderly Asian woman on the street. Completely unprovoked and out of the blue, the man violently pushed the woman to the ground. Not content with that, the man started kicking the woman repeatedly.

As seen in the security camera footage above, this happened in front of a building. There was someone inside the building near the doors (as seen in the photo). This someone was a security guard. He just watched the assault happen, walking a few steps towards the door, but doing nothing. Soon, another security guard walked towards the door and... get this, he proceeded to close and lock the door, rather than go out and help the woman. These were not just some random innocent bystanders fearing for their own safety. These were security guards, trained to handle such situations.

Surely this would be a jackpot for the far left? Surely they would do nothing but talk about this and bring it up again and again for the upcoming years?

But no. Why? Well, the perpetrator? Black. The security guard who just watched doing nothing? Black. The other security guard who instead of helping went and locked the door? Black.

Thus, the far left is in this really uncomfortable situation where they can't use this incident for their political purposes, and they have to tread really carefully and walk on eggshells when talking about it.

And this is, by far, not the only such case. The amount of racially motivated completely unprovoked out-of-the-blue violent attacks against east Asian people have not only been a problem in the United States, especially New York, for well over a decade, but have naturally sky-rocketed because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The problem? The vast, vast majority of the attacks are perpetrated by black people. There are some examples of white people committing these crimes, even those caught on camera, but they are in a very small minority.

This has become so common that Asian people, especially in New York, have been organizing protest marches for something to be done about it.

You wouldn't believe how much of walking-on-eggshells all the news outlets, politicians and other organizations are doing with this. They talk about it, because they have to talk about it, but you wouldn't believe how carefully they try to avoid saying who, for the most part, are committing these crimes.

On the contrary, rather egregiously many Democrat politicians are trying to distort this situation for their own advantage. While (usually) not outright claiming that the crimes are being committed by white people, they still use terms like "white supremacy" and the name "Trump" when talking about this issue. While (usually) not directly claiming that the attacks are being done by "white supremacists", by just mentioning that term, and mentioning Trump, they are quite clearly giving that impression. To someone who knows nothing about the details it will sound like it's "white supremacist" Trump supporters who are assaulting those people. The politicians who talk like this are intentionally misleading people in order to support their agenda.
