How Asians prove the social justice narrative wrong

The social justice narrative of "structural racism" has invaded pretty much all of the western world. Even the major news outlets of the least "socialjusticey" European countries (like Finland) are liberally throwing around that term as if it were a self-evident fact that it exists and is real. Politicians and elected representatives in many countries are throwing that term around and talking about it, and you see it more and more often everywhere.

The claim is that the current western capitalist society has been built from the ground up over hundreds of years in such a manner that it favors white people and keeps non-white people oppressed. That not only does it perpetuate racist attitudes, prejudice and discrimination in people, but that the entire system, from the top down, works in a manner that benefits white people while keeping non-white people down and oppressed. The entire system, somehow, puts extra hurdles onto the path of non-white people that hinders their success, career opportunities and promotions. The entire system keeps them less educated, provides them less and poorer services, and overall makes it harder for them to succeed. Where white people find opportunities and advancement easy, non-white people find extra hurdles in their way. This even if no single person in the system is directly and openly racist and discriminatory. It's the entire system that keeps non-white people down, even if no single individual can be pointed out to be racist and guilty of this.

Somehow.

There is, however, one statistical fact that the social justice ideologues do not really want to talk about much, and they often try to just ignore and avoid, because it just goes completely against the above narrative.

Namely: East Asian people in western countries, according to statistics, on average succeed in all possible metrics even better than white people. Their average income is higher, their average living standards (such as the value of their household and property, and the land value of the neighborhoods they live in) are higher, their average school test scores are higher, their salaries are on average higher, and their career paths on average tend to be faster and reach higher positions. They also commit on average less crimes than white people.

This just doesn't fit the above narrative at all.

And no, it can most definitely not be argued that Asians have never been the targets of widespread systemic racism, racist attitudes nor racist discrimination, because they most definitely have. In some countries even to this day Asians are the targets of despicable racist attitudes and bullying. (And we not talking here about some third-world backwater country. We are talking about modern free countries like Australia. Yes, there's quite widespread racism against Asians in Australia, as hard as that might be to believe.) Historically Asians have always been the targets of extreme racism, for hundreds of years. (And the racist attitudes were greatly renewed after World War II, especially in the United States, for obvious reasons.)

Asians have been historically racially discriminated and been the targets of racial prejudice for a very long time, and there are still places where they experience real bona fide racism (such as racist bullying in high schools etc.)

Yet, somehow, they tend to be the most successful people in western countries, by any metric you care to use.

This just destroys the social justice narrative. If there indeed was "structural racism" that favors white people and keeps non-white people who have historically been the victims of racism down, then it would be no different when it comes to Asian people. Yet it is.

Why?

Because we do not live in a society where there's structural racism. We live in a meritocratic society. In a society where your success is dependent on your own actions, your own hard work. The more you study and the harder you work, the more you succeed.

That's not racism. That's meritocracy. There are no extra hurdles put in front of non-white people. If you work hard, you will succeed, as demonstrated.

  1. cambridge university tweet:
    "@Cambridge_Uni
The University defends the right of its academics to express their own lawful opinions which others might find controversial and deplores in the strongest terms abuse and personal attacks. These attacks are totally unacceptable and must cease." they tweeted this after one of their academic tweeted white lives dont matter and this tweet caused controversy many condemning his tweet. Twit was also taken down by twitter. I wonder if this person said all lives matter what cambridge university would o? defend his right of expression and freedom of speech or apologize to BLM and fire him?

    1. As I have been saying for a long time, one thing that SJWs don't seem to understand is that their activism will never stop. At no point, no matter what happens, will there become a point where they will say "ok, the world is exactly as we want it to be, we can stop now". If they succeed in getting rid of their current enemies, they will find new enemies among their own ranks and protegees. A cult of oppression needs oppressors, so they will always find some.
