Difference between male and female judges (in the US)

I have seen quite many "court cam" videos on YouTube (probably in the hundreds), particularly those where the accused is either a sovcit, or in other ways misbehaves in court, causing a scene, or making completely ridiculous arguments and disrupting the proceedings, often in a manner that's outright contempt of court.

For quite a long time I have noticed a pattern that repeats over and over. Perhaps not 100%, but in a good majority of cases.

And that pattern is: How the judge handles an unruly misbehaving defendant seems to depend enormously on whether the judge is a man or a woman.

As you might already guess: Male judges tend to be very stern and control their court quite strictly. How much they talk to and explain stuff to the defendant (especially if he is a sovcit who is representing himself) depends enormously on the judge, but in general male judges in the United States tend to not tolerate any misbehavior, and will be very stern and much more easily slap a contempt-of-court charge (with either a fine, jail time, or both) to a misbehaving defendant who is continuously disrupting proceedings regardless of repeated clear warnings.

Female judges, however, almost invariably tend to be astonishingly meek. Even when they are warning and scolding a misbehaving defendant, they tend to do it in a very soft non-stern tone of voice. A kind of voice that's absolutely not intimidating and does not command respect. Moreover, and astonishingly, I have also seen many such videos with a female judge who just outright does not keep order in her court at all, and just allows the defendant to constantly disrupt the proceedings without doing anything about it.

From what I have seen, not only do female judges tend to give contempt-of-court verdicts to such unruly defendants much more rarely, they also tend to take significantly more time to do so. Where a male judge may slap the defendant with such a charge in less than five minutes, a female judge might allow the disruptions to go on for fifteen or even thirty minutes, sometimes even longer, before doing anything about it.

In at least a few cases I have seen, the female judge did absolutely nothing to keep order in her court, and just walked out of the courtroom after a while. It was astonishing to watch. I don't remember ever seeing this from a male judge.

There probably are exceptions, in both directions (ie. male judges who are astonishingly meek and non-intimidating and completely incapable of keeping order in their courts, as well as female judges who are extremely strict and stern and absolutely do not tolerate any misbehavior), but from what I have seen, they seem to be extremely rare.

It seems to me that most women just aren't cut for the position of a judge, especially when it comes to unruly defendants who do not respect the court nor the judge, and may cause a ruckus.

Call me a sexist if you want, I don't care. I'm merely reporting what I have seen, that's it.
