Why all companies should get rid of their "DEI" departments as fast as possible

All the way since at least 2016 and earlier, many companies were bamboozled into believing in the importance of having a (would eventually be called a few years later) "DEI department". Or if not an explicit separate department within the company, at least some people whose task was to make sure that the company adhered to the "DEI" principles.

In other words, in practice, discrimination in hiring and promotions, and harassment of current employees.

Hiring these people, often even ones whose sole and exclusive job in the company is to do "DEI" enforcement, became more and more commonplace up until about 2023. Since then, many of these people have been fired, and the number of such employees, in the United States at least, has been on the decline.

Clearly many of these companies have started noticing that rather than helping anything, these "DEI" people are only making things worse.

And the sooner that all companies realize it, and fire all of these "DEI enforcers", the better.

There are many problems with them, and pretty much no benefits.

Primarily, from the perspective of the company, its investors and its shareholders, they are a pure money sink. They only consume money but do not bring any revenue to the company. And, what's most important, unlike other money sinks (such as rent, electricity, janitorial staff, etc) they are completely unnecessary and superfluous. Companies have worked fine for centuries without them, and will work completely fine for the foreseeable future without them. They are nothing but superfluous leeches that suck money and do not give anything back.

Quite likely, during the past couple of years, many companies that have experienced a bit harder times, have started looking at where to save money, and noticed this completely useless money sink. This completely useless black hole where significant amounts of money goes in, and nothing comes back.

In other words, a "DEI department" has zero return-on-investment. And it's completely unnecessary, useless and worthless zero ROI, and many investors and shareholders are not happy with that. And probably many companies have started noticing this.

But it's even worse than that. These "DEI departments" probably and arguably have a negative return-on-investment. In other words, it's not just a pure money sink, but in fact it reduces the productivity of the rest of the company, thus reducing its revenue. This is because these DEI people are nothing but troublemakers who do nothing but stir trouble, controversy and bad air in the company, and who discriminate against people, and make them uncomfortable and scared, and hire incompetent people who are less capable than other candidates.

In other words, all these companies are literally paying money to have their production and revenue hurt, degraded and reduced, for literally zero benefit.

The sooner all these companies fire every single "DEI agent" they have in their ranks, the better, for the company, for the workers, for the investors, and in fact for society.
