Just a couple of months ago I predicted how anything that refers to white and black colors will in increasing manner be seen as "racist". Well, this isn't a prediction as much as a mere observation of current events. Let's take the latest incident, for example:
The kicker is that in this case "lighter" isn't even referring to any color (such as the color of the beer). It's referring to the beer having less calories.
Words are being banned even if they are just homonyms of color words, even if the meaning in context has absolutely nothing to do with color.
In a sense, that's even more twisted than I predicted. Although not surprising.
