The biggest lie about the January 6th Capitol riot

The Capitol riot that happened on January 6th of 2021 was arguably the biggest jackpot and lottery win that the far-left could have dreamed of, given that it has advanced their agenda and goals probably quite literally by years, perhaps even a decade, in one fell swoop. The now-far-left-extremist Democratic Party of the United States has in a mere month put forward motions and programs that they would have probably not dared to do in years if they hadn't this excuse.

One of the most prominent features of taking advantage of this event is the outright lies about it, direct or by omission, that immediately became popular in the press and all kinds of activists and activist groups.

Perhaps the biggest distortions about the event, which you still see all the time (and will probably see for years to come), is the claim that five people were killed during the riot. In fact, recently the Southern Poverty Law Center went even further than that and tweeted that five people were murdered during the riot. (The SPLC later changed the tweet because even they couldn't get away with such a blatant distortion.)

You see that claim repeated over and over, ie. that five people were killed during the riot. What you'll quickly notice is the suspicious lack of detail. How did they die? Did someone kill them? Did they get crushed by a crowd or something? What happened?

The lack of detail is, of course, intentional. It's intentionally left unmentioned in order to give the impression that the five people were killed by the rioters (either directly, or perhaps because of the crowd itself).

What they will almost never tell is actually how the five people died.

One of them was killed by the police, not by the rioters.

The other four died because of medical emergencies. Two of them from a heart attack, the other two, including one police officer, because of a stroke. At least two of them died after the riot, not during it. (The police officer suffered a stroke the next day, and unfortunately died of it. There is no evidence that the stroke was caused by the riot.)

It's funny how the same people who are deliberately vague about the reason why the five people died, and opportunistically use the riot as political ammunition, never talk about, for example, how many people were killed, by being shot with firearms, during the "Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone" incident, or any of the other far-leftist riots. Curious how that works.
