All the signs point to the United States becoming a totalitarian regime

There are many patterns that repeat again and again when in the past a country has been free (at least relatively so) and then a political party arose that made it a totalitarian fascistic hellhole. These same patterns have repeated over and over, in Nazi Germany, in Soviet Russia, in North Korea, in China, and in the countless totalitarian dictatorships of Central and South America, Africa and Asia.

It almost always starts with the vilification and demonization of a large group of people. Via massive propaganda this group of people is made absolutely despicable, horrendous and vile, the enemy of the country, subhuman scum that must be eradicated from society. All the other people not belonging to this group are riled up, via the massive propaganda campaign, against this one group of people, via lies, distortions and massive amounts of slander, to the point that this group of people is universally hated by almost everybody else in the country not belonging to that group.

Rather naturally, the political party that's running the propaganda campaign offers itself as the "solution" to the "problem" that the existence of this group of people represents. A "problem" that was conjured out of thin air by the political movement.

Likewise, the majority of the mainstream media becomes a mouthpiece for this political ideology, a propaganda machine. The political ideology infiltrates or coerces the majority of the media to work for their goals. In order to gain power, the political movement needs to control the narrative, and one of the key elements of controlling the narrative is to control the press, the mainstream media.

Likewise the political ideology engages in massive infiltration of public and private institutions, such as institutions of higher learning, and all large corporations that are influential in shaping the society of the country. In many cases universities have been a key part in the raise of the regime.

And, above everything else, political violence at a massive scale is one of the most essential core features of every such uprising of a totalitarian fascistic regime. Every single governmental takeover has been preceded and achieved with a massive amount of political violence, intimidation and coercion. It's so ubiquitous that there almost cannot be one without the other. If you look at the raise of any totalitarian regime in a previously-free (or at least somewhat free) country, it will be preceded and accompanied by massive amounts of political violence.

Very often when the totalitarian regime finally takes over, it will very publicly and visibly "dethrone" the previous head of state, as a form of symbolism, and as a message. Sometimes the former head of state is executed, sometimes exiled, sometimes incarcerated, sometimes something else, but quite often something very visible and symbolic is done to him.

All of this is happening in the United States. All the warning signs are there, clear as day, for everybody to see.

The scary thing is that the rest of the world just cannot see this. They refuse to see and acknowledge it as a problem.

It may be that this will perhaps not result in the formation of a totalitarian USSR-like regime in the United States that will result in the massacre of millions of political dissidents. However, the warning signs are there! All of them!

And nobody is taking heed of these warning signs, no matter how clear they are. Astonishingly, the rest of the world has been completely duped into supporting the raise of this regime.

I hope that my fears are completely unfounded and this will not result in the mass-murder of millions of political dissidents. However, if it does end up happening, if all the warning signs turn out to be correct, then I will consider all the other countries which did nothing to prevent this from happening at least partially responsible for it. Every single death caused by the regime will be blood on the hands of these other countries that supported the raise of the regime and closed their eyes from the warning signs.
