Biden has become a dictator by his own definition

When Biden was running for president, in an interview on ABC News, he was asked a question about raising taxes and whether there would be any delays on it (after he becomes president). Biden's response was:

"No, well, I gotta get the votes. I gotta get the votes. That's why, you know... The one thing I have, I have the strange notion: We are a democracy. Some of my Republican friends and some of my Democratic friends even occasionally say 'well, if you can't get the votes, by executive order you're gonna do something!' Things you can't do by executive order unless you are a dictator. We are a democracy. We need consensus."

Unusually for Biden, he's relatively clear here in his response. I think it's quite unambiguous that he's saying here that no, he will not just ram his tax increases via a presidential executive order, because the country is a democracy, not a dictatorship, and thus he will wait for the votes (with which I understand he means the votes of the Senate).

It's rather crucial to understand the point he is saying that dictators use presidential executive orders to bypass the Senate, and that in a democracy such things should be voted for.

The funny, and ironic, thing is that by his own definition he himself has become a dictator. He has become the President of the United States, in the entire history of the country, with the most executive orders given in the first week, and the first two weeks. And he did so by a considerable margin.

Do you know how many presidential executive orders Trump did on his first week in office? One. Even Obama did something like three. Pretty much all presidents to the distant past have done something like between one and five executive orders on their first week.

Do you know how many executive orders Biden did in his first week in office? Over 30. As the second week is approaching this number has grown to 40.

This is an all-time record in the entire history of the country, and by a quite wide margin.

Biden has, according to his own definition, become a dictator. By his own words he does not respect the democratic process of the government, and is instead ramming through his own mandates in record numbers completely bypassing the Congress. No president of the United States has ever done this at this level. In contrast, Trump was highly conservative in his mandating of executive orders.

Which is quite ironic, given how the far-left is still touting how Trump was a dictator, and how they "toppled a dictator". Funny how this works.

And, of course, the leftist mainstream media is doing a hilarious amount of mental gymnastics in order to try to defend Biden from his own words. What they did with Trump they are now doing in reverse with Biden. Twist and obfuscate in order to create a narrative.
