The January 6th commission doesn't want you to view the security camera footage

In January 6th of 2020 a bunch of protesters entered (allowed in by the police, btw) the Capitol building and some of them trashed the place a bit. The Democratic Party of the United States took this is a golden opportunity to try to claim that Donald Trump was trying to commit an insurrection, and they have been pushing this narrative in full force non-stop for over two years now, using the most ridiculous distortions and straw-men that you can imagine.

As you might imagine, the Capitol building is stock full of security cameras, outside and inside. There are probably over a hundred of them, as it's one of the most important buildings in the country.

The total amount of footage captured by these cameras is in the dozens of hours in total, the entire event from start to finish, from several dozens of different angles.

Now think about this: How much of this footage have you ever seen?

Almost none. And almost nobody has. And why is that?

Because the Democratic Party has been fighting tooth and nail behind the scenes to not release any of this footage to the public. They have given courts the most ridiculous reasons to not release any of this footage and keep it classified and top secret.

One has to wonder: Why?

Why would they want to keep it secret? One would think that if this was indeed an "insurrection" as they claim, they would want to show it to the public in detail. Blast it 24/7 from all news channels and online media. All the footage of the "insurrection". The proof of how devastating and damning it was.

Yet they are fighting tooth and nail to do the exact opposite, ie. to keep the footage secret and hidden from public.

Why is that? What are they trying to hide?

Could it perhaps be that the footage actually shows that not only was it not an "insurrection", but in fact it wasn't even much of a riot? A tiny fraction of this footage has actually leaked to the public, and it just shows people mostly just walking around without doing much. Not destroying anything, not vandalizing anything, not threatening anybody, not fighting with anybody. It almost looks like a regular open-to-the-public event where a bunch of people just walk around.

In other words, not even a riot. An actually mostly peaceful protest. Not a leftist media "peaceful protest", but an actual one.

They don't want you to see that. They want to keep up the image of rioting vandals screaming and running around destroying the place and threatening people.
