"Ethnopositive existence" is the name given be some to this phenomenon in the far-leftist narrative that "races" exist or don't exist depending on which is more beneficial to the situation in question and their narrative: If races existing somehow puts non-white people in a good light, or somehow advantages them, or somehow disadvantages white people, then races do definitely exist. However, if races existing puts non-white people in a negative light, disadvantages them, or advantages white people, then races definitely do not exist.
A similar concept can be applied to the concept of "woman" in the far-leftist narrative: The concept is very clearly defined (an adult human female) when it suits their narrative, else it's vacuous and undefinable.
For quite many years now the far left has muddled and confused the terms (among many others) "man" and "woman" to the point that even they themselves are unable to define them. It's actually hilarious to see them squirm and wriggle when they are in a situation where they are asked what is a "woman" and they cannot escape the situation and just have to give an answer (such as a live TV interview or show). There are many examples of this. Invariably they will struggle to define "woman", and give vague vacuous answers, or just refuse to define it outright (with something like "it's not up to me to define it").
Yet, the recent International Women's Day has (perhaps slightly surprisingly, or perhaps not) become one of the pet days of the far left, and suddenly everybody on the far left seems to know exactly what a "woman" is.
For example, representatives of the Labor Party of the UK (which is extremely far-left in the modern sense), who themselves previously have been unable to clearly define what a "woman" is, miraculously on that one and only day of the year have a very clear picture of what it is, as they boast about "women's rights" and how the Labor Party has an exact 50-50 split of men and women parliamentary representatives. Because, you know, suddenly they do have an exact definition of "woman", and it just so happens to coincide with "adult human female".
And the Labor Party of the UK is by far not the only example of this, when this one day of the year it's more convenient for them to have this clear definition.
Of course the very next day they can all go back to their fuzzy vacuous undefined state.
Women are adult human females when it suits their narrative, else they aren't. Whatever is best for their position in any given situation.
