The far left really likes d**k sucking

Even without seeing a youtube video, or even its title, thumbnail or author, if you just look at the comment section and over half of the comments are nothing but saying "thank you for making this video" (or any very close variants), usually saying very little else, if anything, there's a 99.9% chance that the subject of the video is either

1. a creationist and/or flatearther video, or
2. a video by a far-leftist social justice warrior.

And much more likely the latter than the former (because the latter are much more common).

(There's also a third type of video where such comments are quite common, and those are the kind of videos where the author is trying to help viewers with personal problems like depression. However, in my experience this type of video is even less common than those other two, and quite often the commenter says something meaningful in addition to thanking the author for making the video.)

I have seen this time and again. When comment after comment after comment is nothing but dick-sucking the author of the video with a "thank you for making this video" or some other form of flattery of the author, usually with no other meaningful commentary, it tends to be a video made by a far-leftist social justice warrior.

This doesn't mean that there are no other types of comment. However, such videos are rather distinguishable in the vast amount of dick-sucking comments, compared to pretty much any other type of video, no matter what the subject matter may be.

I have never seen such behavior in the comment section of any other video (other than the occasional creationist or psychology video), regardless of what the subject is or who the author is, be it a political or apolitical video, be it the author expressing a personal opinion, commenting on drama, or be it some completely neutral video about eg. engineering or mathematics, or about cats or memes.

Most particularly, I don't remember ever seeing even a single "thank you for making this video" in the comment section of a conservative (or even "centrist") video.

The reason for this peculiar behavior is that the far left is a cult, and thus its members exhibit cult behavior. One particular tactic used by many cults is that of so-called "love-bombing" (or what I more crassly like to call "dick-sucking"): Members of the cult rewarding a particular member of the cult with adulation and ego-boosting when that one member does something perceived as advancing the cause of the cult, or providing some kind of insight into the beliefs of the cult, or criticizing and "debunking" some opponent of the cult.
