The world-famous actress (and political activist) Whoopi Goldberg recently embarrassed herself in an episode of The View, a talk show broadcasted by ABC, by expressing this opinion about Jill Biden, the wife of Joe Biden:
"I'm hoping Doctor Jill becomes a Surgeon General, Joe Biden's wife, because she's a hell of a doctor. She's an amazing doctor."
The problem? Jill Biden is not a Doctor of Medicine (even though Whoopi clearly thought so). She doesn't even have a PhD (the highest academic doctorate degree that can be achieved). She's a Doctor of Education, which has absolutely nothing to do with medicine (and therefore she would not be qualified in any way to become a Surgeon General.)
When the other participants in the show told her that she isn't an MD, she admitted her ignorance of what kind of doctorate she actually has.
The most telling thing about this little incident is how Whoopi Goldberg praised Jill Biden as "a hell of a doctor" and "an amazing doctor" with literally zero knowledge of any of her career and possible achievements, accomplishments and accolades. None. She simply assumed that Jill must be "an amazing doctor", even though she knew absolutely nothing about what she may or may not have done during her career (which is quite clear from the fact that she didn't even know that Jill is not a medical doctor at all, and thus has no career accomplishments in medicine.)
I think this is quite revealing and telling about the mentality of social justice ideologues: They don't care what the merits and achievements of a person are. They only care about appearances, not about actual accomplishments. If the First Lady is a "doctor" then she must be "an amazing doctor" and thus deserves some high position of power, completely regardless of whether she has actually earned that position with her career accomplishments or not.
Whoopi Goldberg had absolutely no knowledge whatsoever about what Jill Biden had done during her career, but she didn't care. She still just assumed great accomplishments, with zero evidence, and proceeded to exalt her virtues.
It just goes to show what the mentality, the agenda, of social justice ideologues is.
