US deportation riots: Another example of Orwellian doublethink

George Orwell envisioned in his book Nineteen Eighty-Four (published in 1949) a dystopian utterly totalitarian oppressive society that imposed onto the people, among many other tools of psychological oppression, the concept of "doublethink" (a term popularized if not outright coined by Orwell in this book). This means to hold two opposite and contradictory opinions or positions at the same time.

At face value that seems absurd. How could a person hold opposite opinions at the same time? Yet, modern far-leftist is full of this, and there are many perfect examples.

One of them, particularly in the United States, is their attitude towards certain foreign countries, and deporting illegal immigrants from those countries back there.

You see, if you say anything bad about these certain countries, you will be labeled a racist. Because of course you will. Quite famously Donald Trump called these certain countries "shithole countries", and naturally the American left went bonkers, not only calling Trump a racist (obviously) but also singing praises about how wonderful and beautiful these countries are. Indeed, you can even find clips of leftist news anchors and political commentators adulating these countries and how they have been on vacation there and how wonderful it is, and how horrendous, ignorant and racist it is to call them "shithole countries".

Well, if these countries are so great and wonderful, almost paradise-like in quality, then certainly there shouldn't be any problems in deporting people from those countries back there?

Well, what do you know, suddenly it's "fascism" and a horrendous crime against humanity to deport people to those countries. It's almost a death sentence. I'm not even exaggerating: The American leftists are quite directly talking about these deportations in such a tone.

So which is it? These are wonderful paradise-like countries where everything is beautiful and hunky-dory, or these are horrendous countries where sending someone against their will is almost like a death sentence and definitely a crime against humanity?

Both, at the same time, I suppose. If you claim these are horrendous countries, you are a racist. If you claim that there shouldn't be any problem in deporting people there, you are a racist. It's pure doublethink. Yet another perfect example.

But the modern leftists don't care. They literally couldn't give a flying fuck. They will happily engage in doublethink, triplethink and quadruplethink, if it serves their narrative and agenda: Whatever helps them attack their "enemies" and gain power in society, that they will do and say. They couldn't give a flying fuck about such irrelevant things as logic and consistency. Most of them would probably even outright say so, if in a situation where they are asked and they are nice enough to answer: The agenda is all that matters, and any means are valid to achieve their goals, even if it involves self-contradictory stances and opinions.
