How is it possible to indoctrinate so many people so profoundly?

When you look enough at what the modern far left is doing in western society, one has to wonder how so many people can be so profoundly indoctrinated into such a bigoted hateful racist discriminatory ideology, and how are they seemingly completely unable to see how horrendous their ideology is.

As I have written previously we have become a society where white people applaud and cheer with pure joy and schadenfreude the idea that white people may become a minority in western countries. A society where so many people, including many white people, consider white people to literally be a sub-human sub-species that's separate from the superior races, with racism being encoded in their very DNA (I'm not even kidding or exaggerating). A society where white people, and only white people, are attributed the worst qualities of the human condition, such as the invention and practice of slavery and the colonization, conquest and theft of other people's lands, property and inventions (again, I wish I was kidding; many far-leftists are completely seriously and unambiguously claiming that white people invented slavery, and that slavery literally did not exist before white people invented it and spread the idea to the superior races). An ideology that claims that white people have no culture, that white people are incapable of inventing anything and that the only thing they have ever done is steal from the superior races.

While they are still a minority, there nevertheless are far-leftists who are of the firm opinion that all white people should be exterminated, gathered in concentration camps and killed, every single one of them without exception, children included, so that not a single white person is left in the world. Not as some kind of hyperbole, metaphor, rhetorical device or exaggeration. Literally and 100% seriously. (These people themselves are saying this very thing, ie. that they are not engaging in some kind of metaphor or joke or exaggeration, that they are 100% serious about it.)

What's most bind-boggling is that we have become a society where such talk is considered completely permissible, when the target of the hatred is white people. If the same rhetoric would be expressed about any other race of people, even if it's just a small fraction of the severity of that rhetoric, it would be met with severe criticism, scorn, disgust, shunning and effectively casting the person out of society (via discrimination). However, when that rhetoric is expressed about white people, there's rarely any consequences (unless, perhaps, it's an employee or member of an institution with a reputation to maintain. Sometimes not even then.)

With such extreme views one has to wonder how so many people can be indoctrinated into believing it. How can any rational person even consider such views as rational and acceptable. And even if someone is lured into seriously considering the ideas, how that person doesn't soon realize how horrendous that ideology is and quickly back off from it, rather than fully embracing it and spouting it like a lunatic. Sure, perhaps a really small minority of people can be so indoctrinated and deluded, but here we are not talking about just a couple dozen people. We are talking about thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands of people. Perhaps even millions. Millions of people who are becoming more and more radicalized by the month. How is this possible?

Well, consider the other ideology from the recent past that resembles this one so much. Consider that literally millions of people were indoctrinated into extreme hatred of Jewish people, so much so that many considered their total extermination to be an absolute good.

The vast majority, almost without exception, of Nazi officers who were prosecuted at the Nuremberg trials were completely unrepentant and defiant to the end. Those condemned to the death penalty faced their deaths with no signs of remorse or repentance of their actions or their ideology. Even those who were sentenced for life to jail showed little to no remorse or repentance.

For example, consider Rudolf Hess, who was the second-in-command of the entire Nazi Party. He was sentenced to imprisonment for life in 1946 (perhaps the only reason that he wasn't sentenced to death is that he was captured in 1941, before the worst atrocities of the Nazi regime). He lived in prison until his death 42 years later. At no point during those 42 years did he show any sign of remorse or repentance for his actions, politics and ideology. On the contrary, several texts he wrote during his imprisonment showed that he was a full entrenched anti-Semite all the way to the end, and showed no signs of having done anything wrong. (He didn't live and die in a dignified manner, though. During his imprisonment he was incredibly petulant, even childish, especially towards the end. One could even say that he was the typical SJW.) He did attempt suicide several times; however, it's doubtful he was doing so because of remorse, and much more likely to just end the ignominious imprisonment at the hands of the enemy.

This just goes to show that yes, people can be indoctrinated into even the most heinous and atrocious of ideologies, and do it so deeply that they will never even consider otherwise and will take their convictions to the grave, regardless of how much they are shown how horrendous their ideology is. People can be so deeply indoctrinated that it becomes essentially impossible to "deconvert" them. (Not all people, of course, because "deconversions" happen all the time, but many.)

Perhaps the only way for a chance to bring a person out of the ideology is to do cult deprogramming. However, since far-leftism is not considered a cult, this is never done.
