Not requiring ID to vote is insane

For some reason the Democratic Party of the United States (the "liberals", the "left-wing", the non-conservative party) has become crazier and crazier, and more and more radicalized, by the year.

The list of all the crazy ideas and claims they have come up with in later years would be quite long, but one of their recent ideas is that the laws that Republicans have created to deter voting fraud are somehow not only "restricting people of color and minorities from voting", and that this is the biggest injustice in the country since the  Jim Crow laws (they can never articulate specifics, but that doesn't matter).

Among all the claims related to this, one in particular stands out from the rest for its absolute insanity: The idea that requiring ID to vote is somehow an injustice, and restrictive, and stops "people of color and minorities" from voting.

I'm not aware of any other democratic country where people would be allowed to vote in parliamentary or presidential elections without an ID. (If there are any such countries, I have never heard of them.) The United States is literally the only country I know of where even the idea is entertained, much less applied.

In other countries the reason for requiring ID to vote is a completely self-evident given, and even the idea of not requiring it feels completely silly. Rather obviously, requiring ID to vote stops voting fraud. Most particularly, it immediately and effectively stops people from voting more than once. After all, if anybody could vote anonymously, without any proof of identity, what would stop someone from casting hundreds or even thousands of votes? A dedicated group of people could well turn an election around by collectively casting thousands of extra votes for a particular candidate (eg. in parliamentary elections).

Rather obviously there has to be a way to ensure that one person has one vote. The only way to ensure this is to check people's ID to ensure that they aren't voting more than once.

Requiring ID to vote also stops foreign countries from meddling with the election of another country (something that the Democratic Party seemed to be so worried about for several years immediately after Trump was elected.) After all, if voting could be done anonymously, what would stop another hostile country from sending people to illegally vote in the elections? This especially if voting can be done via mail (which is a thing in the United States, for some reason). What would stop a foreign entity from sending tens of thousands of illegit votes via mail, if no identification is required?

A third form of voting fraud that ID requirements prevent is casting a vote on someone else's behalf. Suppose someone knows that his neighbor's old lady isn't going to vote, so he votes on her behalf for the candidate that he wants, regardless of what that old lady wants. This is, of course, highly immoral and highly illegal. And something that ID requirements prevent.

Opposing the idea of requiring ID to vote, advocating for anonymous voting, is just insanity and just calls for voting fraud.

Of course it couldn't be clearer why the Democratic Party wants anonymous voting. It's so clear that they could just as well be completely open about it and say it out loud: It's because they want illegal immigrants to vote.

They could just as well stop beating around the bush and admit it outright: They want illegal immigrants to vote for them, which is why they oppose ID laws. Everybody knows this, and it couldn't be more evident.
