Are anti-left critics finally paying attention to Wikipedia's political bias?

I have been trying to bring attention to the blatant political bias in Wikipedia since 2015 and even earlier (even to the point of being banned from the site in 2019 for making too much noise about it, even though I broke no rules, and they couldn't show any rules I had broken), and year after year found extraordinarily frustrating how they just get a free pass, as pretty much nobody cares, pays attention, or draws attention to it. Prominent anti-leftist youtubers who will make videos about even the most minor mundane inconsequential things that the crazy left has done, have been completely quiet about Wikipedia for years and years. But perhaps this might be changing? In July of last year Fox News published an interview with the Wikipedia co-founder Larry Sanger , who criticizes Wikipedia for its left-wing bias and propaganda. Recently Steven Crowder made an episode of his show about this bias, and how every single one of his edits bringing more conservative points of view were qui...

Not requiring ID to vote is insane

For some reason the Democratic Party of the United States (the "liberals", the "left-wing", the non-conservative party) has become crazier and crazier, and more and more radicalized, by the year. The list of all the crazy ideas and claims they have come up with in later years would be quite long, but one of their recent ideas is that the laws that Republicans have created to deter voting fraud are somehow not only "restricting people of color and minorities from voting", and that this is the biggest injustice in the country since the  Jim Crow laws (they can never articulate specifics, but that doesn't matter). Among all the claims related to this, one in particular stands out from the rest for its absolute insanity: The idea that requiring ID to vote is somehow an injustice, and restrictive, and stops "people of color and minorities" from voting. I'm not aware of any other democratic country where people would be allowed to vote in parli...

In defense of YouTube/Google

YouTube and its owner company, Google, gets a lot of flak from many people from all sides of the political spectrum and even people who don't do anything related to politics. One of the major and main sources of complaints is (what's perceived by many people to be) the completely broken copyright claim system of the platform. Pretty much anybody can take down anybody else's video by merely filling a simple online form. In practice this can be done anonymously because you can, of course, completely make up the information you enter in that form. What's worse, too many copyright claims and your channel will be shut down. Automatically. Such claims can be contested, but responses tend to be very slow and take quite some time even if YouTube decides to remove the claim and restore the video. If the claimant actually does own the clips in the "offending" video that are the basis for the claim, and especially if the claimant is a corporation, there's even less o...

Can a man get pregnant? No!

By definition! Humans are mammals, which are sexually reproducing animals. Sexual reproduction involves exactly two, and only two, individuals from the same species, which have very different and distinctive non-exchangeable roles in the process, which they have been born with. The type of individual that has the biology necessary to get pregnant and give birth is called "female". The type of individual that's the counterpart to this, and does not have the biology necessary to get pregnant and give birth is called "male". When it comes to humans, we have a name for an adult female: "Woman." We also have a name for an adult male: "Man." Thus, by definition , a man cannot get pregnant. By the definition of the word "man". (A woman has the biology necessary to get pregnant. Sometimes a disease, a birth defect, an injury or other type of abnormal circumstance may cause that particular individual to be incapable of actually becoming preg...

Is there any hope against the raise of far-leftist totalitarianism?

As I have written many, many times in this blog, at this point in time it's just a sad fact of life that the regressive far-leftist totalitarian ideology is winning, and there doesn't seem to be anything that can be done about it. The ideology has already become almost ubiquitous and a universal religion in many parts of the world, especially at many regions of North America, and in some European countries, like the United Kingdom. There are many universities in North America, one concrete example being the University of Toronto, where "social justice" is pretty much effectively the official religion, and no student is allowed to criticize it, speak against it, or get away with dissent. Many University of Toronto students have written about how they are essentially forced to lie and speak against their own beliefs in order to pass courses, and how they are simply not allowed to present any criticism or dissent, nor thinking on their own. There are many mandatory ...

Leftist doublethink: Gender roles

"Doublethink" is a term that was coined by George Orwell in his famous novel Nineteen Eighty-Four . It has become a more generic term which, for example, Wikipedia defines as "a process of indoctrination whereby the subject is expected to simultaneously accept two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in contravention to one's own memories or sense of reality." The modern far-leftist "social justice" ideology ticks many distinctive checkboxes of Orwell's books (not something that one should really strive for), and doublethink is one of the most prominent ones, and there are many, many examples of this. One of them is the concept of "gender roles". For years and years, even decades, the far leftist "social justice" ideology has asserted and enforced the notion that gender roles are not only "just a social construct", but a detrimental one, which we as a society should get rid of. They have this strong notion ...

Deathloop: How I got tricked into buying a crappy game

I have had a PlayStation 5 for quite some time now, but I have noticed a distinct lack of games that use and showcase real-time raytracing, even though the console does have support for it. Some time ago I googled to see if there are any PS5 games that use raytracing, to see if perhaps there could be some that I would be interested in. Most of the results were either games that I already own on the PC, or which I have no interest in. One game, however, picked my curiosity, as it was listed as supporting raytracing on the PS5, and was of a kind that I was interested in: Deathloop. I googled for some reviews of the game, and they were quite positive, almost overwhelmingly so. Thus, I purchased the game. The very first impression I got was extraordinarily negative. That's because I bought the game explicitly to see some real-time raytracing goodness. I got none. Most prominently and importantly, if you turn on the raytracing mode on (ie. the heaviest rendering mode supported by the ga...

The raise of racism in modern society is just staggering

Recently the TV host Jimmy Fallon talked in his show about how for the first time in American history the number of white people went down. What would be the normal reaction by the live audience in the show to this tidbit of information? Most certainly not cheers and applause. Which is what happened. This was not some kind of parody or humor. The audience was seriously and wholeheartedly applauding and cheering the fact. In a recent speech, the President of the United States stated how in about 2070 white people in America will be an absolute minority. Ok, saying such a thing isn't in itself objectionable. What he said next, however, is. He stated how that's a good thing. This is not a unique case. High-ranking politicians in different western countries have expressed similar sentiments several times, often very directly and unambiguously, like that one German politician who in a speech said, very similarly, that white people will become the minority in major cities, and that...

Public restroom restrictions are not "rights"

Especially in the United States the various "restroom bills" have caused controversy because, even from a purely feminist perspective, they are problematic. Essentially they allow anybody to use any public restroom they want, without restriction. Which means that, more particularly, at these places women and girls do no longer have a womens-only place to do their business, and will have to endure the possibility of men coming into the restroom. Even from a feminist perspective this ought to be rather problematic. (It wasn't even so long ago that the far left was aggressively fighting for "safe places" for, among others, women, where women can go and where men have no place entering. How fickle is the SJW mind...) When facing criticism about these bills, social justice ideologues often argue that these bills are not meant for predators to be able to molest women and girls. They are meant to "protect the rights of LGBT people". In fact, oftentimes these ...

Creating an enemy from thin air: "Fascists"

Many years ago I had to create a Facebook account because of my job (it was the only way to feasibly test Facebook integration in a software). Even back then I didn't have a single social media account nor wanted one, and that has not changed an iota. Thus I wouldn't have created the Facebook account either, if it weren't for that reason. After that I made the mistake of actually adding people I know to my friends list in Facebook. (Later I cut down the list to like 10% of what it was, by removing the vast majority of people from it.) Anyway, I have noticed that lately Facebook has been showing me Facebook posts of random people and organizations that I have never had any engagement with, some random "suggested for you" posts. Even more recently I have noticed how more and more of these "suggested for you" random posts have been leftist political propaganda. (One really has to wonder why...) Like, for example, this image posted by some BS organization na...

The reason why the far left clings so rabidly to the January 6th "insurrection" narrative

In January 6th of 2021 a group of idiots (who were instigated by people who have later turned out to be very suspicious, more on that below) forcefully entered the Capitol building and trashed the place. When compared to all the riots that have happened during the past 4 years in the United States, this one was relatively tame. Papers and office supplies and some furniture were thrown around, but nothing of extraordinary value was really broken or vandalized, and overall the mess was not something that a team of cleaners couldn't clean in a day and have the place look like nothing had happened. It was extremely tame compared to the dozens and dozens far-leftist riots that have been going on for years, causing literally billions of dollars of property damage. The worst thing that happened during the riot was one death. The victim was one of the rioters, shot by the police. However, this incident was a full-on jackpot for the far left, and the Democratic Party. The same far left that...

It seems I was wrong about Joe Biden

In January of 2021 I expressed my view that if Joe Biden is still the President of the United States by the end of that year, I would be very surprised. Well, render me surprised. He is still in office (as of writing this). So I suppose I was wrong. He did manage, somehow, to keep enough of his composure for this long. (I'm honestly curious to know how many drugs he's being given to keep him at least relatively sane and attentive, combating his creeping senility.) I suppose the next surprise would be if he lasts his entire four-year term in office. I'm still tempted to predict that he will not last to the end of this year, ie. 2022.
