Why is social justice doctrine so virulent?

The Lutheran Church of Finland, which is the official State Church, has been for quite many years an official sponsor of the Helsinki Pride parade.

Let that sink in for a moment. A Christian Church that has existed since the 16th century sponsors and promotes homosexuality and homosexual displays.

This is not just question of "love the sinner, hate the sin". This is not a question of the Lutheran Church saying "while we don't condone homosexuality, such people should nevertheless be respected as fellow human beings and treated equally." This is them endorsing and literally sponsoring homosexuality and homosexual relationships and their acceptance in society. This is them saying, effectively, "homosexuality is ok in our books, and not only there's nothing wrong with it but we are actually promoting and monetarily sponsoring it."

And if you still think that maybe they are just trying to say "homosexuals should not be discriminated against and treated with respect in society" rather than them actually promoting homosexuality, consider that for about 20 or so years now there has been a constant and extremely divisive discussion inside the Church about whether it should accept and hold homosexual weddings or not. While there's a lot of disagreement about this among Lutheran priests and bishops, a quite significant portion of them are favorable to the idea.

Of course the Lutheran Church of Finland has a history of being "progressive". In the late 90's, early 2000's, they decided to lift the ban on female priests. You know, because they don't want to discriminate, and apparently 500 years of Lutheran and 2000 years of Christian history has been wrong. (Note that I'm not saying here whether this is good or bad, or whether Christianity is right or wrong in this regard. I'm merely saying that this is what Christianity has taught for 2000 years and it has been one of its core doctrines for that long.)

Not to be outplayed, the current Catholic Pope has also been quite active on the "progressive" social justice agenda. Among other things, the Pope has expressed his approval of same-sex marriages (at least civil marriages) and has allowed Muslim prayers inside the Vatican, the holiest of places in Catholicism.

I'm not a Catholic, nor know Catholic catechism or doctrine in detail, but I wouldn't be surprised if a Catholic priest or bishop (which is what the Pope is) deliberately allowing and promoting the preaching of a false religion (which is what Islam unambiguously is from the point of view of Catholicism) inside the Holy See is outright heresy, according to Catholic doctrine. The punishment for heresy is excommunication.

But consider this: How did the Pope get indoctrinated into the modern "progressive" social justice ideology that's pro-gay-marriage and pro-Islam, and why is the Pope doing it?

What exactly is the imperative, the motivation in throwing 2000 years of Catholic doctrine to the trashcan in the name of being "progressive"? Just consider how mind-boggling it is that about 20 years of Social Justice doctrine so easily overrides about 2000 years of Catholic doctrine. What possible motivation does the Pope have to do this? After all, it's not like he could be "cancelled" (Popes are elected for life), especially not in that environment. It cannot be a fear of consequences, or a need to conform.

And where and how did he get indoctrinated? After all, consider where he is: For the most part he lives in the Vatican, surrounded by very conservative Catholic bishops and priests, surrounded by an extremely ultra-conservative religious Catholic country (ie. Italy). Certainly he watches the news and probably browses the internet, but it's doubtful he got indoctrinated so easily by simply watching some YouTube videos or reading some SJW tweets and blog posts.

The vast majority of SJW ideology infiltration happens by universities, which are the cradles of that doctrine, and the way it spreads to the rest of society. However, Pope Francis went to a Catholic theological university in the 1960's. Not a very fertile time nor place for social justice indoctrination (which back in those times was pretty much non-existent, especially in a Catholic university in Argentina.)

So how did he get indoctrinated? By who? It just boggles the mind. Is he, like, surrounded by young priests fresh from Social Justice Academy who are feeding him Social Justice doctrine, or something?

On the side of politics, currently in the United Kingdom the Conservative Party is the majority party in the parliament of the country. The main ideologies of the party are listed as conservatism, British unionism and economic liberalism, and they are considered on the political spectrum to be on the center-right. They were voted to become the majority party primarily because of their pro-Brexit policies by voters who want Brexit and are more on the conservative side. In other words, it's the so-called "populist" party of Britain. Parallels could perhaps be drawn to the Republican Party of the United States, which is also extremely conservative and "center-right".

Yet, amazingly, a good majority of the elected representatives of this party embrace full-on social justice doctrine, somehow. For example, they are completely ok with going through "unconscious bias training" and "anti-racism training" and yadda-yadda the rest of social justice buzzwords.

Once again, they have literally zero reason or motivation to do so, yet they do. They were literally elected to oppose social justice ideology, not to embrace it.

It boggles the mind.

It's just mindboggling how virulent the social justice ideology is. It's so amazingly virulent that it even infects the most conservative and oldest religions in the world. Just a couple of decades of social justice indoctrination is enough to overthrow thousands of years of religious indoctrination.
