What will happen if Biden wins? My predictions

I wrote earlier a blog post envisioning the (realistically) absolutely best-case scenario, and also (somewhat pessimistically) the worst-case scenario of what happens if Biden wins this presidential election.

The truth might turn out to be somewhere in between, perhaps with some details leaning more towards the best case, and others veering towards the worst case. If I had to predict what would actually happen, realistically, then perhaps something like this:

  • Firstly, after Trump stops being the President, the American far-left will do its hardest to destroy his life, partially as some kind of revenge, partially to make an example of him and send a message. The very first form of this will be a boatload of SLAPP suits (ie. lawsuits intended to abuse the legal system to intimidate, hurt or attack a persona non grata.) The left is already talking about this, and it's their full plan already. It's pretty much a certainty that this will happen, the only question is how many lawsuits there will be, by how many people and entities, and for how long they will keep harassing him with those politically and ideologically motivated lawsuits. Their full intent is to discredit him, destroy his life, family, career and businesses, and to make him an example. The ultimate cancellation, if you will.
  • The Democratic Party of the United States will try to "pack" the Supreme Court. In other words, they will expand the number of judges on the Supreme Court by a substantial amount and nominate Democrat judges to those positions so that they will always have a majority vote in every single decision, therefore rendering all Republican power in the judicial branch of government null and void. Also this is already their full open plan, and they aren't even very secretive about it. It's impossible to tell whether they will be successful in this or not, but they will most probably at least try.
  • Relatively soon after Biden is sworn into office, perhaps within the first few months, he will become indisposed or so ill that the Democrats will try to enact the 25th Amendment (if the President is removed from office, the Vice President shall become the President). The illness might or might not be actually real. The American leftists and the leftist mainstream media will become completely insufferable for several months as a consequence of this.
  • In fact, the leftists will become completely insufferable for months even prior to this, right when the election results are confirmed. This may well lead to something more than them just gloating and laughing at the Republicans and the "fascists". This may well actually embolden them and make them drunk with power, and rather than them becoming less radicalized now that they got what they wanted, they will on the contrary become even more radicalized. Now that they have got a taste of power, they will want more of it, and ensure that they won't lose it in the future ever again.
  • Which, in turn, means that rather than the radical activism slowing and quieting down, it will only increase. The radical far-leftists will take this victory as a signal. To them, this will not be the goal. This will be the starting line. They will take this as the start of the "revolution" in full force. They will take this as a signal that now is the time to "fight back" and "take back" what (they think) was taken by the "fascists", and to start the "denazification" process, which in this case they will interpret as them assaulting Republicans and vandalizing, destroying and looting their property. It's impossible to predict how far this will go, and whether it will be restricted to just a few dozens of isolated incidents, or whether it will become a widespread phenomenon especially in the "blue states" that will continue for years at an ever-increasing rate.
  • The presidential administration will try to pass new laws increasing taxes (especially those of corporations and rich people), renewing or creating some kind of universal healthcare system, loosening immigration control, restricting industrial pollution, among other things. It may well also try to pass some "reparations" laws and other laws related to social justice ideology concepts. Pandemic lockdowns will be mandated on a federal level and will be much stricter than currently. When it comes to immigration, it's hard to guess how far they will be willing to go in order to loosen it. Realistically speaking, it's very possible that, for example, the administration will mandate all illegal immigrants currently held at border detention centers to be freed and allowed to enter the country freely. How much farther they will go from there, it's hard to predict. (Worst case scenario, the borders of the country, especially the southern one, will be opened completely for unrestricted unsupervised access.)
  • Very likely the economy of the country will suffer and the country will face an economic crisis, unless the other branches of the government succeed in putting a stop to it. Crime will likely also raise (both political violence and all other kinds of crime) because of the economic crisis. Most likely the majority-Democrat states will suffer more than the majority-Republican states, but no state will be completely spared. Trump will be blamed for the economic crisis, not Biden's/Harris' administration.
  • The amount of censorship and political discrimination in the country, especially by the big tech corporations, will only increase, no doubt emboldened by the election results. They will openly want to avoid a "new Trump" from ever becoming the president again. Many will openly state so (not being afraid anymore of it being a secret internal policy). It may well be that even the Democrats and the presidential administration itself may try to pass more restrictive free speech laws, to stop wrongthink from being spread, and allowing corporations to legally censor and discriminate.
  • Likewise racial discrimination will probably raise significantly, once again emboldened by the new presidential administration. "Colored people only" and other racially segregated events and spaces will become commonplace. "Affirmative action" will become the norm (and it will just be an euphemism for racial discrimination.)
  • The 2nd Amendment will become a huge political issue. How far the administration will take it is once again hard to guess.
  • Expect rainbow flags in the White House, especially during certain times of the year.

  1. What about direct and indirect consequences of Biden's winning the election for world powers such as Europe, Russia and China? This dimension as well importan to look at.
