In many states of the US you cannot get help if you have gender dysphoria

Particularly in certain states of the United States the "trans" ideology has invaded the medical profession so deeply and profoundly, very much including all therapists and psychologists, that it's literally impossible to actually get help if some has some form of "gender dysphoria" and would want some help with it.

"Gender dysphoria" is not a complete fabrication and invention of the modern far left. Some forms of it do actually exist as a psychological issue, and this has been documented in medicine for probably at least a century. The most common age bracket of people who suffer from some form of it is teenagers and to some extent young adults.

There are many forms of it, but it's actually relatively normal among teenagers sometimes: A teenage girl might have huge self-confidence issues and feel like she is not like the other girls at school, especially the popular and beautiful ones. Because of these insecurities she might be very shy and introverted, and have trouble socializing with boys (and even her social circle of other girls might be very small, sometimes even restricted to just maybe two or three other girls, only one of them being a close friend.)

Such a girl might form over the years, or even perhaps have at some level an innate instinct, that because she isn't like other girls (or, more precisely, she thinks she isn't), she can't act like other girls, she can't socialize like other girls, she can't speak like other girls, and she is the opposite of popular, then there's something wrong with her, that perhaps she was born "wrong", and in some cases such a girl might even develop an outright psychological issue over these insecurities, where she starts seriously doubting if she is actually "a girl" at all (something that one could perhaps call "self-gaslighting".)

A teenage boy can go through a similar process. Maybe he's quieter and more introverted than all the other boys he sees at school, he isn't rambunctious, he likes calmer and quieter hobbies, he might even be interested in more "girly" hobbies, like drawing pretty pictures and similar, and so on and so forth. And, once again, a few of these boys might even get into their heads, for one reason or another, to doubt their own masculinity, whether they are actually "boys" or not, because they aren't like the other boys, they don't act like the other boys, maybe they get made fun of and bullied.

Study after study has shown that in the vast, vast majority of cases these doubts and thoughts pass when they become young adults, when their bodies are not being ransacked by a storm of hormones, and they gain some life experience and wisdom, and they realize that it's completely normal to be a bit more of an introverted girl or a calmer boy, and there's nothing wrong with it. Not everybody has to be identical. A good majority of them even succeed in engaging in fulfilling romantic relationships, which resolve all of their issues and insecurities (at least in this regard).

But there's of course that minority of them who never get over those doubts and confusion, and might suffer from those personal insecurities, and might suffer actual long-term gender dysphoria, where they doubt themselves and their own nature. In a minority of cases the dysphoria does not resolve by itself, and they keep struggling with it even into their 20's.

Some of them seek therapy for these problems. All that they would want is to just get over with it and get on with their lives, women as women, men as men. They have no intent to become "trans", they would just want some help to cope with their psychological problems, which they are unable to do on their own.

Yet, as mentioned, in several states of the United States they literally cannot get the help they need!

That's because in those states most if not all therapists have been brainwashed by the far-leftist cult, and the only thing they do is to push for such people to "transition". They push, and they push, and they push, relentlessly, regardless of what the patient actually wants.

In fact, as testified by a few who have dared to speak out about it online, if the patient keeps insisting that he or she doesn't want to "transition", just wants help with the mental struggles and depression, the therapist might actually start subtly accusing him or her for being "transphobic", believe or not. Subtly or less subtly, the pushing starts being accompanied by shaming and accusations, to one extent or another.

There really are such people who have made videos about it, and how they simply cannot get the help they need. They recount how they went to therapists but then had to stop because those therapists wouldn't help, and instead just pushed the trans agenda, even though the patient showed zero interest in "transitioning".

Those far-leftist activist "therapists" are only hurting people who need help. It's despicable.
