Insurrection is ok when they do it, obviously

Remember about four years ago when the American left, including all the leftist politicians, were up in arms about "insurrection", how absolutely horrendous of a crime it is, how the so-called "insurrection" was literally the worst event that has ever happened in the entire history of the United States (I'm not even making that up), and how every single person even remotely involved must absolutely be prosecuted in the harshest of terms (so much so that corrupt judges sentenced innocent people into astonishingly long sentences for no crimes whatsoever)?

The horrors of "insurrection" was the constant talking point for several years. They kept pounding on it again, and again, and again, pretty much non-stop, trying to make it true via sheer repetition. Multiple kangaroo court congressional hearings were held about it, as the Democrats were trying to push really, really hard into making it an actual "insurrection" and trying to somehow throw Trump in jail to stop him from running again. "Insurrection" was pretty much the worst crime in existence, pretty much in par with, if not even worse, than treason.

Well, look at what's happening everywhere in the country right now: Leftists harassing, attacking, physically assaulting, vandalizing, doxing and in some cases outright shooting federal agents, engaging in actual literal terrorism (ie. politically motivated threats and acts of violence) against the government.

What they are doing is literally insurrection, plain and simple. It's the exact precise definition of that term.

And what do you know, suddenly insurrection isn't the greatest crime in the history of the country. Suddenly insurrection is justified, promoted and incited by those very same leftist politicians who tried to throw Trump in jail and who did succeed in throwing hundreds of innocent people in jail for the supposed "insurrection".

Because, like always, since they are "on the right side of history", because they have the moral high ground, it's ok when they do it. Obviously.

The don't need to abide by their own standards. Those standards and laws only apply to their opposition, not to them. They are above their own rules.

Obviously.
