Are moderate democrats in the US getting tired of the Democratic Party?

"Democrats" in the United States, in other words those who primarily or even exclusively support and vote for candidates of the Democratic Party, can be roughly divided into two types: The radicalized brainwashed drones, and the moderates.

A good portion of the democrats in the United States are of the first type: In other words, completely indoctrinated and radicalized drones who just believe and follow completely blindly whatever is the doctrine that particular week on their side, and who will always support it no matter what, and will always repeat whatever the talking points happen to be that particular week. If today their side decides that thing X is a good thing and worth supporting, then they will rabidly and blindly support it and shout from the rooftops how it's a good thing. If next week they decide that very same thing X is actually a bad thing, that it must be opposed, and that they never even supported it in the first place, they will shout from the rooftops their utter hatred and opposition to it, and vehemently deny having ever supported it. It doesn't even matter what the thing is. They are brainwashed indoctrinated drones, they do not think for themselves, and they will automatically support or oppose whatever they are told to, and will even flip-flop on their support as commanded. Without any exaggeration they could support something today, and strongly oppose it tomorrow, and they will have zero self-awareness about this contradiction (there are actual examples.)

But not all supporters and voters of the Democratic Party of the United States are like that. There's also a quite sizeable portion that are significantly more moderate, and can actually think for themselves. They don't vote for the Democratic Party because they are told to and they have been conditioned to obey, and are too scared to vote for anything else. They do so because they truly believe in the causes and goals of the party. They do so based on their own opinions, not based on being commanded to do so.

There are some indications that even the most loyal and avid "moderate" Democrats might be getting tired of their own side and their own party. And not just in the so-called "swing states", which overwhelmingly elected Trump as the president for his second term (so much so that, quite unusually, even the American leftists didn't dare to claim that there was some foul play involved. The result was so utterly clear and overwhelming.) Also in the "deep blue" states, which have been extremely pro-Democrat for decades.

And the reason is clear: The Democratic Party of the United States has become a single-issue party, and has been so for over 8 years now. And that single issue is, of course, Trump Derangement Syndrome.

They just rant on and on and on about Trump, bashing him, calling him names, and trying to get elected by fear-mongering and demonizing the opposition (particularly Trump, of course, but also the Republican Party in general, and all conservative republicans.)

Yeah, sure, they also spout the typical modern far-leftist talking points (something that they have only been doing for less than a decade, as of writing this), in other words "womens rights", "minority rights", "abortion", "immigration" and yada yada. However, in the vast, vast majority of cases even these talking points are usually presented under the umbrella of anti-Trump anti-Republican propaganda (in other words, they are not preaching the virtues of those things on its own, but always in the light of "they will remove all these rights if you don't vote for us".)

Over 8 years of constant non-stop Trump Derangement Syndrome, anti-Trump propaganda, is finally getting old and tiresome, even among many moderate democrats. This particularly in light of the absolute fiasco that was Biden's presidency (which saw inflation skyrocket and record high numbers of illegal immigration into the country, and subsequent massive increase in crime.)

This is a fact that hasn't escaped many political commentators on the Democrats' side. We already have several of them speaking in the far-leftist news programs about how people are getting tired of the anti-Trump crusade by their side, and that perhaps it's time to just stop it and return to a more rational Democratic Party, like the one from 20 years ago.
