There has been a relatively recent trend of alphabet people "fleeing" so-called "red states" in the United States and move to more "blue states", and especially to the city of Seattle, which has been one of the most far-leftist cities in the entire country for over ten years now.
They allege "persecution" in states like Texas which, according to them, are eroding their "trans rights".
Are they really being persecuted in states like Texas by the government? Are they being jailed, or discriminated against, or in other ways mistreated by the government? Nope. (That's actually impossible because it would very quickly lead to a Federal lawsuit and the Federal government intervening.)
Are they perhaps being persecuted, harassed and assaulted by citizens? Not really either. (If they were, you would see it blasted from every single news outlet 24/7. The far-leftist activist journalists would be all over it. Yet, nothing. Pretty much crickets. That's because it's not happening.)
What's really happening is essentially this:
Trans activists: "We demand these special privileges and special services for free."
State government: "No."
That's it. That's the entire "problem". They feel persecuted and discriminated against because the state government is not placating to their demands for special privileges and free services, and is instead just treating them like everybody else.
But it's certainly true that most people there don't like them. And why is that? Well, because they are constantly seeking public attention, they are constantly organizing empty and meaningless "protests" which cause constant noise, constant annoyance, constant public disturbance, they block traffic, they annoy people, they insult people, they cause a lot of noise (sometimes even all throughout the night), and they are as disruptive as possible (while, quite often, the cops do nothing to stop it and just allow it to continue day after day, week after week, month after month.)
And they expect people not to be annoyed at them?
And can you guess what these thousands of trans activists did when they went to Seattle? Well, what do you know, they immediately started making demands from the city government, they started demanding money, they started demanding special privileges, and very unsurprisingly they once again started organizing disruptive and noisy "protest" marches that block traffic and annoy people as much as possible.
Well, I suppose that Seattle is used to it by now, after 10+ years of it, so not much has changed there.
But that's all they know what to do: Demand, demand, demand, demand. And be as disruptive and annoying as possible, making sure that as many people as possible start hating them.
Here's a video discussing this.
