I have written in past blog posts how fighting the far left may be a lost cause because the critics are, in good and unfortunately in bad, too much of independent critical free thinkers who are hard to organize and, most particularly, give up too easily when a campaign to have something done doesn't seem to be going anywhere.
The thing is, many people in governments, companies, organizations, institutions and activist groups know this. They know that if the opposition makes a huge deal about yet another controversial issue, the only thing that they need to do is to play the waiting game: Just wait. Don't do anything. Wait for long enough, and the critics will give up, forget about it, and move on.
Because that's exactly what happens with the anti-SJW critics, and even the political right eg. in the United States, the conservatives. Eventually they just give up. They implicitly surrender.
Quite critically, this tactic works even when it's an actual extremely serious issue that affects the entire country. Such as the possibility of voting fraud in presidential elections, for example.
Indeed, after the results of the 2021 presidential elections were announced, quite soon many people and news organizations started pointing out and giving evidence of possible voting irregularities and even voting fraud at many places.
For weeks and months the conservative media, conservative politicians and conservative influencers were talking about it and demanding an investigation. Yet, the FBI outright refused to investigate, the federal courts refused to investigate and merely threw out any and all lawsuits without consideration. And rather obviously, the Democrat government refuses to investigate and just denies it.
Remember that this is the same FBI that sent like a half dozen agents to investigate a knot on a rope because some NASCAR driver was upset about it. That elicited a full-on investigation. This is the same FBI that's investigating and illegally obtaining the banking information of hundreds of people because of the riot in the Capitol building. This same FBI refused, and continues to refuse, to investigate even the possibility that voting fraud might have happened.
If there was election fraud, it would be one of the biggest scandals in the history of United States. But everybody is refusing to even investigate the possibility.
And what do you know, nobody is talking about it anymore. The conservative news outlets are not talking about it anymore, conservative influencers are not talking about it anymore in YouTube nor social media. Nobody is talking about it anymore. Nobody is demanding investigations anymore. If it happened, it would be one of the biggest crimes and scandals in US history. Yet nobody is talking about it anymore.
They played the waiting game, and they won. If there was voting fraud, they got away with it, and there will be no consequences. Because, once again, the critics gave up. They complained and complained, but then they just gave up.
This is the major problem with the opposition to far-leftism: They just give up. The problem with the far-leftist extremists is that they don't give up. And that's why they are winning.
