Continuing from my previous blog post about this subject, where I discussed how the far left trying to completely revamp the schooling system (because they think that the traditional way of running primary schools is antiquated, oppressive and racist) only leads to complete failure, where students don't learn anything and fail all tests.
Another good example of this is, of course, how many of the cities in the United States, which are being governed by far-leftists, are failing catastrophically. Seriously, there are several such cities in the country where, if you look at current photographs and videos of, you would be forgiven for thinking that they are from some kind of war-torn impoverished country, or some other country devastated by a war (like Ukraine). Streets and parks full of garbage, rubble filth, excrement and drug needles, hundreds if not thousands of homeless people living in tents along streets and in parks, hundreds and hundreds of cars that have been completely destroyed and removed of any valuable parts, and so on and so forth.
Likewise crime is absolutely rampant in these cities. In many of them it has become so bad that criminals are just mugging people in broad daylight, even when there are other people filming the event with their camera phones, and they just don't care. Cars are being broken into, and even people driving cars are being stopped and mugged, and stores are being regularly looted. Shoplifting has become a completely normal daily occurrence. And not just during the darkness of the night, but in broad daylight, in plain sight, with dozens of eyewitnesses and cameras. There's even some CNN or whatever segment where a news crew went to interview some shop owners about the current state of things, and they filmed not one, not two, but three shoplifters taking stuff and walking out of the store without paying. Completely in broad daylight in front of a very visible camera crew. The shoplifters quite literally did not give a flying fuck about the cameras or anybody.
And there's a reason for that: Not only have the police forces been decimated by deliberate budget cuts, but the city prosecutors outright refuse to prosecute these crimes. So even if the police were to catch one of these criminals, he would just walk free because the prosecutor will refuse to prosecute. Completely on purpose. (And, somehow, this apparently does not make the prosecutor complicit in these crimes. It baffles the mind.)
And if you are thinking "what about the store clerk, or any other employees of the store? Don't they try to stop the shoplifters?"
Well, that's especially funny because many of these shops, especially larger retail chains, have literally and explicitly a "zero tolerance policy".
A zero tolerance policy about what, you might ask.
A zero tolerance policy against employees doing anything about shoplifters. That's right, if an employee of the retail chain were to do anything to stop a shoplifter, he or she would be fired on the spot. Zero tolerance.
This just beggars belief. It's as if the world has become completely insane, and retail stores want to become bankrupt by having all their merchandise stolen.
And this, according to the far left, is somehow supposed to make society better. While people cannot even walk down a street without getting mugged or even worse.
