American police REALLY needs to stop with their ID fetish

A policewoman is driving down a road when she sees someone on the side of the road from behind, who looks from that perspective like maybe a 10-year-old girl. As this is highly unusual, the officer stops to see if the girl is perhaps lost or needs help.

Turns out that it wasn't actually a 10-year-old girl, but just a small adult woman.

Ah, so it was just a simple case of confusion. It wasn't actually a lone child, so there's nothing to do, especially since the woman says that she doesn't need any help. Just say goodbye and keep driving...

Except that, of course, that's not what ends up happening. That's because American police officers have an ID fetish. They just need that ID in the same way as a drug addict needs his next fix.

So, for no reason whatsoever (and against state laws), the police officer asks for the woman's ID. There was literally no reason for her to ask for it, as there was absolutely nothing suspicious whatsoever going on, but because American cops have an ID fetish, she asked for it anyway.

This is literally a perfect example of a police officer just stopping a random person, for no reason whatsoever, and demanding her ID. No suspicion of anything, nothing. Just a random person out there, and for literally no reason whatsoever the police officer stops and demands her ID. Because American cops have an ID fetish. It's their drug of choice.

The woman refused, because it was her right to refuse. She was not being suspected of any crime, so there was no reason for her to have to show ID.

At the latest at this moment the police officer should have said goodbye and go back to her car and continue driving. But of course she couldn't do that. Her ID fetish was not satiated, so she proceeded to engage in the other fetish of American cops: Handcuff her.

For absolutely no reason whatsoever. She wasn't being violent, she wasn't trying to escape, she was not being suspected of any crime whatsoever, and thus there was literally zero reason to handcuff her. Literally the only reason why the cop even stopped was because she mistook the woman for a 10-year-old girl from behind.

This literally has to stop. It makes absolutely no sense. The ID fetish has to stop. The handcuff fetish has to stop. It's not only illegal and unconstitutional, it's inhumane. This is some Nazi Germany shit.
