Jacinda Ardern was, essentially, "the Justin Trudeau of New Zealand". Indeed, just like Trudeau, she was elected Prime Minister of New Zealand, she is a raging far-leftist lunatic, and she was so incredibly proud and smug about having elected an "incredibly diverse" (her own words) cabinet for the government of the country. Which, of course, mirrors almost exactly Trudeau in Canada.
And what do you know, just like Trudeau, she quickly became an absolute tyrant, curtailing freedom of speech, enacting totalitarian measures, and surprise surprise, opening up the borders of the country to almost unrestricted immigration.
There was no justification for opening the borders. New Zealand's economy was doing just fine (and, in fact, was one of the richest countries in the world), birth rates were just fine, none of the go-to excuses for opening the borders applied.
And what do you know, eg. in 2023 over 225 thousand immigrants were taken into the country. At the same time, over 42 thousand citizens of New Zealand left the country.
Because New Zealand is a relatively small country, having only about 5 million citizens, that's relatively speaking a very significant population replacement. And that was just in that one year. By the end of that year the country was just 55.9% European, down form 79% in 2001. (And leftist politicians are still touting from the rooftops that the "replacement theory" is nothing but a baseless "right-wing" conspiracy theory... while at the same time and without any qualms celebrating that white people will become a minority in just a few years.)
The demographics of a country don't go from 79% to 56% without a very significant amount of population replacement.
And what do you know, the economy of New Zealand is not exactly thriving anymore. Indeed, currently the country is experiencing a weak economy, high living costs and high unemployment. It doesn't exactly help that a good majority of the citizens who have moved out of the country were the richest and highest-earning people in the country, leaving behind those who cannot afford to move out and, thus, suffer the most from the sinking economy.
And can you guess who is among those who have moved out of the country to live elsewhere? Well, what do you know, one Jacinda Ardern.
Indeed, she resigned her position as Prime Minister and moved out of the country, no doubt because of the sinking economy.
And where did she move? To the Australian region of the Northern Beaches, in Sydney. One of the richest areas in Australia.
And the demographics of Northern Beaches? Over 99% white European.
Big f'ing surprise.
First she destroys the economy of an entire country with her "diverse" multicultural politics, and then she moves to one of the richest parts of another country that's almost 100% homogeneous white European.
One of the most egregious cases of "multiculturalism for thee, but not for me", and "not in my back yard."
And the thing is: She will never, ever experience any consequences for having betrayed the people of New Zealand. She gets to retire to a rich whites-only area of Australia with her family, with zero repercussions. Meanwhile, the poorer people in New Zealand are left to their own devices, to handle the almost million random immigrants that were let into the country by her policies.
(Well, she is not 100% to blame, though. She was voted into office by the people of New Zealand, and overwhelmingly so. She did not seize power forcefully. She was elected into that position of power by the citizens. And now the citizens are reaping the consequences of their own choices. The richest ones are fleeing the sinking ship, the poorer ones will have to live with the consequences of their own vote. Meanwhile she can enjoy the paradise beaches of northern Sydney, surrounded by 99% white Europeans. Will the people of New Zealand learn from this? Unfortunately for them, probably not.)
