One thing I almost admire about the far left

Recently I made once again the mistake of trying to talk to a far-leftist in an online conversation. Unsurprisingly, I only got absolutely vile toxic rhetoric thrown at me, the same vile defamatory talking points the far left has been regurgitating for over a decade now. Such conversations are completely fruitless. You simply cannot have an actual conversation with brainwashed psychopathic drones. Nothing you can say will ever, ever make them even thinking of reconsidering some things that they have been indoctrinated into believing.

Anyway, I suddenly realized something. It's pretty obvious, of course, but actually it's not really all that obvious when you think about it.

And it's related precisely to that "regurgitating the same talking points".

Indeed, the exact same namecalling, defamatory accusations, conspiracy theories and spurious claims that they have been spouting for a decade. Something that pretty much all of them repeat blindly, just parroting what they have been indoctrinated into, like broken records.

And that's the curious thing: Pretty much all of them repeat the exact same rhetoric, the exact same talking points, the exact same accusations, the exact same namecalling, the exact same words and terminology. No variations, no personal opinions that differ from others', no originality, everybody regurgitating the same things, almost verbatim.

Now consider the sheer amount of people regurgitating the exact same things. Tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, probably outright millions of people, all indoctrinated to repeat the same things, the same words, the same insults, the same claims, the same conspiracy theories using the exact same phrases.

Consider how much time, effort, resources and people have been necessary to do that. That kind of grand-scale indoctrination of millions of people, to the point that they have become brainwashed psychopathic drones that just repeat the same things like robots. Millions of people repeating the same things. And all that in the span of just ten years, even less.

Even most religious cults aren't capable of doing that. Not even nearly at that scale.

I almost admire the astonishing sheer scale and success of the propaganda indoctrination campaign. It's truly astonishing.
