There is one thing that flat-earthers just cannot explain in any way, shape or form, not even with made-up claims, not with pseudoscience, not by throwing fancy terms at it and pretending it "explains" it, and they can't even deny that it happens. This one counter-argument is completely impervious to all flat-earther arguments.
And that is: How is science able to predict every single solar eclipse years and even decades ahead of time, to the accuracy of seconds, and the exact places where there will be full and partial eclipses?
Even they cannot deny that it happens. They can deny the validity of photographs, video, scientific tests and measurements when it comes to other topics. They can even argue about the nature of solar eclipses themselves (ie. what they are and what causes them). However, the predictions are so utterly and clearly undeniable that even flat-earthers and their kindergarten-level IQ can't deny that it happens: Every single time that science has predicted a solar eclipse, years and even decades in advance, it has happened exactly when predicted, to the second, and where it was predicted to happen. Every single time people go there and witness it for themselves, and the evidence that the prediction was accurate is overwhelming.
Unlike most other scientific facts and laws, they can't explain it away with buzzword and pseudoscience either. They can't throw their "perspective", or "diffraction", or "atmosphere", or "inverse square law", or any other of the pet terms that they have zero understanding of at it, because none of those terms explain how science is able to predict eclipses with such an accuracy. Even they, with their plant-level IQ, understand at some level that "diffraction", or "buoyancy", or any other magical buzzwords, don't explain how scientists can predict those things decades in advance.
And even they understand, at some level, that throwing esoteric, conspiratory, or supernatural claims at it is too ridiculous to be taken seriously, even among themselves. Even they don't dare to claim that scientists have some kind of secret knowledge of the universe that allows them to predict these things, or that Satan gives them that information, or something. (While it's perfectly possible that a few flat-earthers have thrown such claims, I have yet to hear it for myself. If any of them do, it seems to be extremely rare even among flat-earthers.)
This phenomenon is untouchable. Not eclipses themselves (those they will happily deny and throw woo at all day long), but the predictions of eclipses, which are astonishingly accurate and can be done decades in advance. Heck, centuries in advance! They have nothing. No denying it, no excuses, no buzzwords, no wacky claims and theories about how they do it. Literally nothing.
So what do flat-earthers do with this completely untouchable counter-argument?
They just ignore it. That's what.
They don't talk about it, they don't think about it. They just completely ignore it. They will happily talk about the eclipses themselves, but they will never touch the subject of how is it possible that they were predicted so accurately years in advance. They just don't talk about it. I'm pretty certain that most of them just don't even think about it. The thought just doesn't even cross their minds. They just don't stop to think "hmmm... so how do they predict them? How is that possible?" It's just too difficult of a question to handle, so even if the thought briefly crosses their minds, they shove it aside and probably don't even want to think about it. They suppress the thought in their minds. While they don't outright deny it's happening out loud, in their minds the kind of pretend like it doesn't.
Heaven forbid one of them would start to actually research how the predictions are done. What exactly is it that scientists do to come up with the accurate predictions. (After all, it's not like this is some kind of secret information.)
(If you are interested in another perfect example, here's one: Hurricanes always rotate counter-clockwise in the northern hemisphere and clockwise in the southern hemisphere. This is due to Earth's shape and rotation, and caused by the coriolis effect. It's also the reason why hurricanes never cross the equator and get to the other side, as doing so dissipates them due to the same coriolis effect. A static non-moving flat Earth cannot explain this, while a rotating spherical Earth explains it perfectly. Flat-earthers just ignore this and don't even think about it. Most of them are probably not even aware of the phenomenon, and even if they hear of it, they just forget about it, probably not even understanding the significance.)
