One of the tactics that the totalitarian regressive leftist ideology has been engaging in the past few years is to try to hurt their political opponents, especially those who are popular and vocal, by hurting them financially. They will contact employers, business partners, payment processors and advertisers, and tell them "are you aware that your product is being associated with this person, who is doing this, this and this?" This is especially a tactic loved by leftist activist "journalists", who will contact especially advertisers and ask them things like "what's your opinion on your advertisements being shown on this YouTube channel, which says this, this and this?" in order to have the company in question severe ties and pull their ads from that channel. And the scary thing is that this is an extremely effective tactic. And a tactic that can be done with pretty much complete impunity, as there's no law that would prevent somebody from financially hurting someone this way, "by proxy" (especially if there is no case of actual defamation).
In the current political climate corporations and advertisers do not want their products associated with the "far right" (which in the current world means anybody who isn't an extreme leftist social justice warrior).
Yet, these exact same companies, loads and loads of them, regularly engage in virtue-signaling by pandering to the so-called "pride month". And it's not only that their brand is somehow associated with that movement unwittingly. No, these corporations directly endorse it, promote it, and show their support, both via imagery and official messages.
This is hypocrisy from the part of these corporations.
How so? What exactly is wrong with "pride month"? It's celebrating and raising awareness of equal rights of people regardless of whatever their sexual orientation might be. It's a celebration and promotion of the ending of discrimination against people based on such orientation.
That's not the problem. It's not the "pride month" itself that's the issue here.
It's the parades.
"Pride month" is almost synonymous with "pride month parades". In many countries, especially the United States and Canada (less in other countries), these parades might have started as relatively innocuous and innocent, but have since many years ago degraded into complete and absolute debauchery. They are an absolute disgrace.
This is not just some ultraconservative religious puritanism in me. Many of these parades are absolutely disgusting, and the people marching in them showing and doing things that would never be allowed to do anywhere else in public, especially in front of children.
And that's the main issue here. In front of children.
People very often bring very young children to see these parades. Sometimes even to march in these parades. Often there will be semi-naked and, I kid you not, naked people in the parade. Usually naked men. And not just in the "nudist beach" sort of nakedness, but deliberately and willfully exposing themselves in suggestive manners, and half-way doing sexually explicit acts with each other.
In any other context if some men were do to this in front of children, like in the front of a grade school, they would be quickly arrested and prosecuted. Yet, for some reason, not in this case.
Sometimes very young children themselves will participate in the parade, half-naked. Once again, if this happened in any other context, the people responsible would be quickly arrested and prosecuted. But not here.
I don't think I even need to post any photos here. You can find them with Google if you want. They are absolutely disgusting.
And all these virtue-signaling corporations are supporting and promoting this.
And no, with many corporations, it's not that they just support the "pride month" itself, the idea behind it, but not these parades. No. Many corporations will have their own rides in the parade, directly advertising the company. There are absolutely amazing examples of some corporate-sponsored parade ride, with huge corporate logos in it... and half-naked people riding it. In front of children.
These corporations are quick to distance themselves from anybody who simply criticizes the regressive left, no matter how mildly, yet they sponsor, promote and directly participate in this kind of debauchery that in any other context would be classified as indecent exposure to children, even child abuse, that would land the culprits in jail.
The funny thing is that it would be really simple for a corporation to not do this: Just don't do anything. Let politics be politics, and concentrate on what the corporation is actually providing.
But no, they have to virtue-signal, and thus they have to support this travesty.
