Modern far-leftists are bona fide antisemites

Because of recent events in Israel (as of writing this), there have been many instances of harassment of Jewish people in other countries, especially in the United States.

And not just on the streets of cities, some back alleys, some rundown poor crime-ridden neighborhoods. Such harassment has been happening in some of the most high-class prestigious places, like many university campuses, by university students.

There have been several reports of this, such as for example Jewish university students being locked up in the university's library while a mob of people are banging on the doors and windows, aggressively shouting to them, and the Jewish students being too afraid to go out, and many other such instances.

Note that most if not all of these Jewish students are not citizens of Israel nor have ever even visited the country. They have zero connections to either the Israeli government or even Israel itself. In other words, most of them have absolutely nothing to do with what's happening there, have no connection to anything, and have zero influence on anything happening in that country.

The only, and I truly mean ONLY, reason why these Jewish students are being targeted by this harassment is because of their ethnicity. That's it. There is no other reason. "There are some Jews there, let's go harass them."

In other words, this harassment is the purest and most unambiguous form of racist antisemitism that there can exist. It's not stretching the definition, or a wild interpretation, or an exaggeration. It's racist antisemitism, pure and simple, no question about it.

And the thing is, this harassment is not being done by some far-right neo-nazis who have somehow infiltrated the college campuses. No, this harassment is being done by leftists. The ones who supposedly oppose the right wing, oppose racism, oppose antisemitism. They are the ones engaging in this racist harassment of people.

And are the university staff and higherups doing something about this harassment? Are the people engaging in this racist antisemitic harassment being expelled and reported to the police?

What do you think? Obviously not.

The funny (and sad) thing about far-leftists is that they don't really know how to think about Jewish people. They get mixed messages about them, and don't really know if they should hate them or protect them. They know that antisemitism is bad, but on the other hand they are also told to hate Jews, so they have this Orwellian doublethink contradiction in their brains that they just can't figure out. And, of course, on top of that they are morbidly afraid of their own side, of making even a tiny mistake and have the ire of their own mob be turned against them, so they often go into this lock-up mode where they are too afraid of expressing an opinion one way or the other (very similarly to how they can't answer the question "what is a woman?" because they are morbidly afraid of saying the wrong thing.)

For example the (now former) president of University of Pennsylvania was asked, several times, in an official hearing if calling for the genocide of Jews violate the university's code of conduct when it comes to bullying and harassment, and again and again she just couldn't say "yes".

(She resigned her position because of this incident... although not before a huge donor threatened to cancel his donations to the university if she didn't. It appears that money is still a big enough incentive even for the neo-communist far left.)
