The attack on Libs of TikTok is quite revealing

Libs of TikTok is a TikTok channel that does pretty much nothing else than to repost other (public) TikTok videos, with a text description that's a short summary of what the video is about. In general (if ever) is any opinion, criticism or any other sort of message written about the video. Just a short summary, and the original video uncut.

This channel has become popular among conservative anti-leftists, and thus, obviously, a public enemy of the far left.

Why? Because they repost only the craziest far-leftist tiktok videos, showing the most insane, insidious and/or abhorrent things that far-leftists are uploading to the website. In other words, the channel works as a kind of collection of the most insane extremist far-leftist videos that have been uploaded to the site.

As mentioned, the channel generally (if ever) does not criticize, comment, or say anything about the videos, besides just a short summary that describes (usually quite accurately) what's being said in the video.

The channel has, thus, become one of the top enemies of the far left. They hate it so much that a far-leftist New York Post journalist even literally doxxed the owner of the channel (even though this is at a very minimum legally highly questionable).

It's not like the channel goes its way to hack into people's computers to retrieve their private files, or film people with hidden cameras without their knowledge, or leak private information and videos that were not supposed to be public, or deceptively edit the videos to make them appear to say something that they actually don't. No, the only thing the channel does is repost videos, as is, that are uploaded by those leftists themselves. Completely public videos that anybody can see, uploaded by the authors of the videos themselves. The channel isn't revealing anything that the original author didn't already, by uploading the video to TikTok.

If these crazy far-leftists didn't want their insane video to be viewed by people, why did they make it and upload it in the first place?

Somehow just the act of collecting these videos into one place is considered some form of condemnable action by the far left, perhaps because it draws attention to their absolute craziness. One would think that if the far left agrees with what's said in those videos, they wouldn't have a problem in attention being drawn to them. The more people see these opinions the better, isn't it?

The fact that they hate this channel and consider it an enemy is quite revealing: It goes to show that, deep down, they know that what they are saying is insane, idiotic, shameful and absolutely cringe at best, horribly condemnable at worst. They know this and don't like attention being drawn to it. They don't like these crazy opinions and messages being divulged to a wide audience because deep down they know how unacceptable the messages are.
