Predictions for the near future, part 12

For some time now I have been joking in the comment sections of many YouTube videos which deal with the racism and racial segregation of the regressive left with things like "how long before they start demanding DNA samples before they allow people to (do, say or permitted into whatever is being discussed in this video)?"

Well, seeing the direction where things are going, and how fast they are going there, I'm not sure if this should a joke anymore. Perhaps at some point in the near future they will start actually demanding DNA samples in order to measure your genetic purity (eg. how "black" you really are) in order to allow you to do or get into something particular, or condemn you for something, and to classify you in a hierarchy of oppression.

After all, we are already seeing the first hints of something like this. There was this infamous case of that American congresswoman who tried to prove that she has American Native ancestry (and, quite hilariously, it turned out that she's whiter than most native Europeans). In another video by some random YouTuber, this person had sent a DNA sample to a lab in order to find out what African tribe her maternal ancestors are from (using mitochondrial DNA it's possible to trace a purely matrilineal line way back into history), and she was absolutely shocked to find out that her matrilineal line actually originated from Europe (meaning that at some point she had a relatively recent white European female ancestor from whom she's a direct descendant). She almost cries in the video.

And those are just two examples. There are more. So yeah, that joke might actually become true at some point.

On a different note, cryptocurrencies will probably start becoming illegal in many western countries, most prominently the EU, as well as some other countries like Canada and perhaps Australia.

The "problem" with cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, is that they can be used to completely bypass governments, banks and financial institutions (such as credit card companies), and this can be done anonymously. Being able to circumvent the gatekeepers of our society, ie. the governments and financial institutions, will be seen as more and more of a problem, especially if more and more people start using that method. These institutions will be unable to attack and discriminate against people who use cryptocurrencies, so the only way to stop it is for the government to make it illegal.

Of course they will use all the tired old excuses and buzzwords to justify making them illegal (like that cryptocurrencies are used to fund terrorism and extremism, and so on), but we all know what the real reason will be.
