In many countries all over Europe and America, but especially in the United States, there have been for two or three decades now a constant and ever-increasing push to encourage women to go to higher education institutions. Special programs and campaigns starting from grade schools, women-only scholarships, women-only courses and services... you name it. As time has passed, this has only escalated more and more, up to the point of outright gender discrimination by many institutions.
Looking at all these programs and campaigns one easily gets the impression that women are still a minority in higher education and in people getting higher degrees. What none of these advocates ever make any noise about, however, are the actual numbers. In the United States, currently, about 52 percent of college students are women, and women earn about 25 percent more bachelor degrees than men.
The push to get women into college has worked... but it's not stopping. Gender discrimination favoring women is as high now as it has ever been, with a record number of women-only scholarships, and women-only courses and services provided by universities.
For instance, the University of Southern California is being investigated by the FBI for violations of Title IX regarding this. (Even though "Title IX" has been twisted by SJW university staff in order to investigate and expel male students accused of sexual assault, what the statute is actually about is discrimination: A university receiving federal funding cannot discriminate against students based on things like gender and race. And this is exactly what the USC is being investigated for.)
Women-only scholarships and services were justified when women were a clear minority of students. That's not the case anymore, by any possible measure. Yet the favoritism, and the discrimination against male students, and the gender segregation, continues as strongly as it has ever been, and there are no signs that it will ever stop.
I am absolutely certain that it will still continue for the foreseeable future no matter what that FBI investigation concludes. (Even if the university is found completely guilty of discrimination, they will find ways to get around the statutes to continue the discrimination.)
I think this is indicative of the social justice ideology in general: Anybody who thinks that the social justice warriors are going to stop once they "fix" the "problems" they are seeing in society is completely naive. They are never going to stop. They will continue pushing for their agenda no matter what. They will never, ever conclude "ok, our work is done, society is fixed, we can stop now". If they get in power, they will never let go of it, and will on the contrary always seek for more power. If they run out of "enemies", they will find new enemies, new people to oppress, new people to exert power over.
