The youtuber who goes by the name "Professor Dave" (even though as far as I understand he isn't actually a real professor) has become quite infamous among youtube's political circles because of how bigoted of a far-leftist activist he is.
(A "bigot" is one who is "obstinately attached to a belief, opinion or faction, and is utterly intolerant, prejudiced and antagonistic towards people presenting any differing opinions and creeds.")
He isn't just (in)famous for being such a bigoted activist, but moreover because of his absolutely childish petty behavior. He just loves to go through the comment sections of his videos, and responses to his social media posts, and call people petty names in a very childish manner, not even trying to hide his patronizing belittling insulting attitude. (Several people have made screenshot compilations of these responses of his, which has made hundreds if not even thousands of. He just loves to insult people.) These petty childish insults are not restricted to his responses in comment sections and social media, as he also loves to use them in his actual videos.
Apparently he hasn't got the memo that when you feel the need to call your critics petty names, no matter how mild their criticism may be, that only shows how insecure you are of your own position. You are compensating your own insecurities with insults and childish name-calling.
Anyway, recently he got into a beef with a conservative youtuber who goes by the name Warren Smith, about the question of "trans" people.
"Professor" Dave's arguments are quite hilarious. In his response videos he asserts again and again, at least a dozen times, being "trans" is not a choice, that people are literally born with a physical brain that's of the opposite sex, that you literally cannot choose this any more than you can choose how tall you are, or what the natural color of your eyes is. He repeats this strong assertion as a fact several times.
Then he goes to say:
"Perhaps one day we will reach a point where we can identify transness with a brain scan. Right now we can't."
So he first makes strong claims about "transness" not being just a choice or some kind of learned psychological phenomenon, but an actual physical characteristic of the physical brain, that makes it physically different from "non-trans" brains.
Then he just states that we have no way to measure this. Nothing. There's no way to distinguish between these two types of brain. We don't have any measurements that can do this.
But it most definitely must be true! Why? Because he says so, I suppose. No physical scientific measurement evidence needed.
What I would like to know, according to "Professor" Dave, is what exactly is the deal with all the people who flip-flop between the two "gender identities" almost at a daily basis (yet still demand their current choice to be respected). Are they wrong and deluded half the time?
"Professor" Dave may be really popular among his far-leftist fans, but otherwise he really is a laughing stock.
